Rented a Minivan for a company trip. We had a flat. There was no spare or jack. They wanted to tow the rental two hours away where we rented it. They wanted us to find a ride back to the rental company to rent a replacement, two hours away from my location. We paid to have the flat fixed and won't be renting from Dollar Cat Rental again.

I rented a mini SUV from March 10 to March 16 at the airport Aman, Jordan. This reservation was booked via Expedia for $ 410.67. At the airport they did not have the car and so they gave me big car for $ 633.96.A loss of $ 300.29. where neither expedia is cooperating nor is Dollar car rental is taking this responsibility.All i say is think twice before you reserve a car with dollar or expedia.

This is a scam. Beware. You pay for a reservation, then when you go to pick it up they will tell you they are out of all cars you had reserved. Then they will give you a better car. After you return it and leave the place they will charge your credit card again and claim they gave you an upgrade. You will not be able to resolve it by calling them. I did not believe the other reviews before booking and ended up losing $178.21

Jenny and Hunter were so good definitely the busy place to rent A car from at the Bentonville airport!! So professional and very helpful even when we had made a booking mistake!!! Two weeks in a row they went above and beyond to get us a good car at a good reasonable price!

It was pretty smooth considering they only have one person working there who is is doing everything. When I say everything, he was prepping cars across the street, and you have to call his cell number posted at the counter so he can run over and rent you a car.

Absolutely horrible customer service from the staff at the XNA airport Dollar Car Rental and customer service with Priceline was useless as well. The two people at the Xna dollar location were ignorant, unhelpful and uncaring. The were like robots quoting policy instead of trying to remedy the situation. I booked a car for my wife a week in advance , to pick up as she was flying in to Fayetteville, Ar alone and had a 4 hour drive to her job interview. Around 5 pm , while she was in flight, a phone call came to me stating they had no more cars and they were over booked as were others. My wife was carrying cash and travelers check as all the transportation and lodging were paid for before the trip. So here she is stranded at a tiny airport 30 min from any town totally alone with no car, no friends or family and absolutely no concern for her safety by price line nor Dollar rent a car or their staff. I had to leave work early and tried for 3 hours to try and resolve this to no avail. The best I got was they would refund my money with no penalty! What a joke! They also told me it would take 5 to 7 business for my refund. By this time all the car rental companies were closed. I and in disbelief that neither company offerd any type of assistance o ther than a refund. My wife's stress level is through the roof trying to find out how to get to a safe place for the night and how to arrange transportation. All this right before a job interview that could be moving us to a different state! I am beyond frustrated. Poor customer service, poor business ethics, poor polices, poor local management! I am also a VIP member of Priceline. Guess what they don't care! I would avoid these companies at all cost!!!! The $10 or $20.00 savings is not worth the dangerous situation they put my family in. I strongly recommend never using price line or dollar rental cars !

The rental process was efficient and the customer service was friendly. I caused minor bumper damage that I reported; the company decided not to pursue charging me. I felt that this was more than fair, and I'm relieved that I did not have to go pay out-of-pocket or through my insurance. I have not had that same experience with other rental agencies. I will definitely rent a car through them again.

I can't believe this company is allowed to do business! I show up for my reserved rental car at the exact time my pick up is at noon and thee is nobody to be found at the counter! The door was wide open and a purse was hanging from the coat rack in the back room but no reps. I waited for 53 minutes while nobody showed up as I am talking on the phone with representatives who say they can't even call the company's desk or the employees who should be attending the desk and they keep hanging up on me just because they can't do anything! Literally nothing! I drove an hour the get to this pick up location so I already know there is no others close by since I'm in the middle of nowhere. They can't even call the desk or the agent and then the agent wouldn't give me any way to contact the site manager and tells me to fill out a survey that will magically be emailed to me.... right! Naturally the agent couldn't care less for anybody but herself as her response to being gone for at least 53 minutes is "sorry im the only one here" as her concern is only for herself. As of that were an excuse at amy job I have ever had if I had left my post for 53 mins or more I would have been walked off the job site! Right along with the headphones she's wairing! My pick up was on 3/13 at the Bentonville airport from a rep who didn't even have a name tag.

I rented a Chevy Malibu for 2 days. And due to a family emergency. I had to keep it an extra day. I called and the guy said that it a be 125$ just for the extra day. I had no cash in my bank account. So I decided that I would pay it when I got back. I make it back on time with a half a tank of gas. No one was at the register. So I put the keys in the drop box. I wake up this mourning and look in my bank account. I’m negative $900. I am so disappointed in them. This company needs to be shut down. They are extorting people. And you can’t fight them because they just take the money out of your account even if there’s no money in there. It’s so unfair

DO NOT rent with DOLLAR CAR RENTAL! They have two separate temporary authorizations on my credit card right now! One for 200 which is the security deposit and one for $55 which was for a one day rental from April 5 2020 until April 6 2020. I called one week after I noticed they hadn't removed the hold. The representative's answer was " we only send out releases once your credit card should have released it." I called my credit company who said they had received no such release. I've rented from several companies. This has NEVER happened with any accept Dollar Car Rental. HORRIBLE, INCONSIDERATE, NEGLECTFUL company.

The daily rate shown on the receipt and billed was dramatically higher than the initial confirmation email, with the billed amount 237% higher than quoted. There was no difference in car class, dates, etc. No response from customer service.

I'm 20 years old and needed a rental but why tried charging me $529 on a compact car that I reserved and paid for online because I'm "underage and and more susceptible to crashing". Worst service and hidden fees ive eexperienced...
