Definitely avoid. Reserved full sized car for 7 days. Location had no full sized car upon my arrival. Provided a truck instead. It had maintenance problems from the start. Dashboard warnings would surface randomly while driving advising me "Vehicle is not in Park!" which I finally figured out was because the driver door wasn't closing properly. I finally realized I had to slam the door multiple times to get rid of that warning. Low tire pressure light kept coming on, even though I filled the tires with air repeatedly. On day 3 the vehicle completely refused to start in the morning. Called Roadside Assistance, after an hour of waiting for them (they kept texting they were "finding a service provider to assist") I gave up because it was snowing and cold. The next morning I located a mechanic to start the truck, but he advised I should drive it immediately back to Budget as it "...won't start again if you turn it off". Closest Budget place was 90 miles away, but I drove it there and swapped it out. On the drive back to Budget the check engine light came on. Effectively lost 1 1/2 days of usage, but Budget indicated no refund for loss of use. I've rented a lot of cars in my life, I'll never use Budget again. The people were nice, but the vehicles weren't well maintained.

Budget demanded a 250 hold in addition to the 107.21 rental fee prior to me taking the vehicle from XNA and returning at Tulsa I was guaranteed the 250 would be returned upon returning the vehicle at Tulsa. When it wasn't returned or even showing as pending return in my bank account, called to ask when it would be returned. I was told 1 to 10 business days and then the agent hung up on me. I'll never use budget ever again.1 star is necessary for this to post. They didn't even deserve 1 star.

Got the mystery car at XNA airport after flying 12 hours. Picked up the car at 930pm. The car smelled like cigarettes and marijuana so bad but we were exhausted and figured it would air out, but it didn't. We should never have accepted the car and should have taken it back. I wish i had realized how bad it was in the garage that night. Two hour drive later, our clothes and hair stunk so bad. We couldn't even use it for the rest of the trip and had to borrow relatives cars. Car basically was just to get to and from airport due to smell, and was unusable.Did you guys even clean this car? Why didn't you warn non-smokers of the cars condition? I'm appalled and angry to say the least. Car cost us way more than we bargained for. Literal headaches from the smell, and dry cleaning fees to get smell out of clothes. Please make this right.

The intial price quoted on Expedia was $36. I was happy to book! my final invoice was $89!!! Be sure to ask about all of the "hidden" charges. Very disappointing. (but the vehicle was great, and the counter personnel accommodating).

I reserve economy vehicles because I prefer the maneuverability, but lately, I rarely get an actual economy vehicle, unless you consider a RAV4, Expedition, Sienna, or a Charger an economy vehicle. I am not enjoying the experience of wondering if I even fit in my lane or parking spot, or the complete inability to check my blind spots by turning my head.

Took me three cars to get one that worked. The first one had a key fob that didn't work. The second one needed an oil change. The third one that I finally drove, it said the key fob battery was about to die about half way through my trip. Customer service ladies at the front desks were completely rude about it. It's not my fault your cars aren't working. A simple "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" wouldn't hurt them. They grabbed my papers out of my hand and rolled their eyes the third time I had to come back because THEIR cars weren't ready for CUSTOMERS to drive them...? I paid for the service of renting a car, I should expect to get a reliable car and not feel like it's my fault for wanting a car that will get me down the road.

Budget wrongfully charged me for a fuel surcharge when I filled the car up before returning it, with the receipt to prove it. I asked the return agent if she need the receipt and she said "no." This is a dishonest practice.After waiting in the telephone queue for quite a while, Budget adjusted the charge.

I haven’t rented a car in a while and I was traveling to unfamiliar territory. I completed most of the paperwork online which saved time The car was ready and a nicer model than I expected. All went smoothly from pickup to drop off. Thanks, Budget!

Very simple rental, reserved online, no payment required, picked up car, it was a little stinky but not terrible. Had the unit for over 2 weeks with zero issues.

Used the least expensive option and ended up getting a Nissan Pickup that was brand new, super clean, and got good gas mileage. Staff was helpful during pickup and dropoff was very quick and easy.

Be careful, they will charge you high extra fees after returning vehicle for no reason. Now dealing with their customer service because after returning the car with a full tank of gas I am being charged for a fuel service. Make sure you get pictures of everything, fuel gage, interior and exterior.

Great experience with both online booking and in-person checkout at XNA Airport. We extended due to a flight delay and found that to be easy to do over the phone.

The website is so bad. It messed up my prepaid reservations when I added my driver’s license to the fast break account.Phone Customer service is very painful. I had done 3 reservations on same day and all had issues, double payments, higher base rates. The cs rep could help me with only one case at a time, so I had to call 3 different times.They asked me for so much documentation which should already be there since they processed the payment.Still not sure if it is resolved yet. I will believe when I see the refund.Extreme long line at check out.Fast break when worked was really great!Cars were nice, clean and returns quick and easy.
