I went there today to purchase over $500.00 of garden material. the guy outside just told me to write it down on a piece of paper and take it to customer service. When I got to customer service, they said the descriptions weren't enough to go back out and get the SKU numbers off all the tags. it's 90° outside, so I went back out me and my gardener we wrote down all the SKU numbers and brought them back in. We got a different girl and she says these aren't the right numbers, it was the numbers under the barcodes! So we left & went to Lowe's , took 30 minutes there! much better customer service!

I found a piece of foam tubing that someone had disgarded by the other foam tubing. I searched the area for more. Did not find any. I also could not find an opening is the merchandise that this piece may have come out of... so I pulled up the HD app and searched for this item... still couldn't find it. At checkout, I told the self-service cashier that the piece was unidentified and not on their app... then I asked if I could have it. She had to check with someone else. She measured the item (24") and went to find someone. Then the two of them went to find someone else to ask. While the three of them tried desperately to figure out what to charge me for an item they don't sell, I finished my $130 transaction and left. That was the most pathetic display of customer service I've seen in a very long time! This always seems to be the case at Home Depot. I'll stay with Lowe's. It would have been so easy to keep this customer happy but they opted for the opposite! Is it a training issue? Lack of response from management? I don't know. But it was a lack of respect for their customers that will keep me from shopping there in the future!

Ordered and paid for a dishwasher, stove and microwave. The dishwasher looks like it was installed by a 3rd grader and the microwave is still sitting on the countertop because they said they couldnt figure it out. (This was 2 months ago) Upon calling Home Depot they said they had fired that install company so we would be added to the list when the new company took over….. so today they are scheduled for the install, said they couldnt find the house (even though same company delivered the stove tuesday) they said they were instructed not to waste time driving around looking for our house. Some how HDs bad choice of installers is no longer their problem but mine. You are literally running a clown show with your install business.

We have a HUGE problem. I ordered 7 boxes of flooring and paid for all of them in 1 transaction online. I've received 2 boxes of the correct flooring along with 3 boxes of peel and stick flooring that I did not order. I called your 1800 the same day of delivery and she said that she was only showing 2 of the flooring boxes delivered. I asked her if someone was going to pick the peel and stick back up and she avoided my question, redirected me to call back tomorrow if I didn't receive the rest of my order. The order then showed from FedEx that it was being delayed, then delayed again. Here we are. Almost 2 months later. You returned 1 package of the flooring yesterday through email, but that doesn't account for the rest nor the peel and stick flooring that's sitting in my house that I didn't order! None of this was boxed up besides the original packaging so I'm not sure how anyone could have not distinguished that they were not the same product. They aren't even the same size box. I spent $451 and have $130 in product NONE OF THIS MAKES SENSE

I went to Home Depot 15 years ago to buy $5000 worth of appliances. The girl at the checkout typed my DL number in wrong so my check was refused. I decided to try them again this week. Ordered over $4000 of fencing material to be delivered. Website said delivery next day, order confirmation says 4 days. When I called to ask they told me that the $80 delivery fee I agreed to wasn’t enough to bump me up to next day or even a confirmed day. Day 3 they call me and tell me I have to wait an addition 11 days for delivery unless I want to pay more for the service. Is Home Depot selling to the public? NO. They are only catering to contractors. NEVER AGAin Home Depot will I walk thru your doors. Order has been cancelled. I refuse to get in a bidding war with contractors. Lowe’s will deliver on day 7 from my initial order.

Poor customer service. Pushing self checkouts. Either self checkout or go to lumber side to check out.

Purchased LG refrigerator on 16 June. was scheduled for delivery on 3 July. Recieved phone call the morning of delivery stating could not deliver until 18 July. Over a MONTH after purchase. I contacted store manager and the only recourse he could offer was refund. I pointed out to him that the item was setting on the show room floor. he indicated he would not sell me the floor model. POOR policy Poor Custimer service. Unable to reach human at regional office. Good bye Home Depot.

Came in looking for a new refrigerator. Asked the sales associate about delivery for an online only product. Guy told us just to order online when we asked about delivery time and fees. Asked several times about fees and he would not answer. Ended up walking away without a fridge

Went to Lowe's in. Bryant first because it was closer but it was a total waste of time. After paying someone twice still didn't get anyone to help get some wood cut. Came to Home Depot and they had me in and out in minutes. Hey
