I am honored to be chosen to be a part of the Friends of Beebe Humane Society. I have adopted three (3), yes 3! Beebe dogs from them. Jaxie is a wonderful person who runs this 501(c)3. I have met her in person, my husband and I drove our travel trailer from California to Arkansas to adopt and pick up a bonded brother and sister, Maxie and Mia. We adopted the other, Pedro, when we lived in Massachusetts. Our first dog, Chulita was adopted first from another rescue in Arkansas. We love you Jaxie!! ❤️❤️❤️

We adopted two dogs, a toy poodle who is now 5 years old and a dachshund who is 7 years old. Beebe Human Society rescues dogs in the Arkansas area. I found the person running the adoption really makes sure her rescues find their happy forever homes, ask a lot of questions, contacts your veterinary, ask for video of your home and yard. I actually appreciated the long process. Follow up to make sure everything is going well. I couldn't believe the bad reviews, my suggestion is you visit Beebe Facebook page you'll get the real picture there.

They look super shady. The pictures of their animals look like they're in pretty bad shape. I've also never heard of a rescue that charges near $1000 per animal and extra if you want them to delivery the animal- a service that I've never heard of a rescue providing. This stinks of a scam, a backyard breeder or some combination of the two. I just pray that no animals are getting hurt in this situation.

I adopted 2 wonderful shihtzus from Jaxie. One 12 years ago and one 3 years ago.I saw them on adopt-a-pet. Associed with a rescue called Desperate house dogs! I proceeded to fill out an application. I then spoke directly to Jaxie. Both fur babies were exactly as she described down to their personalities, health and size. She answered all of my questions without hesitation. They arrived by puppy transport one 12 yrs ago and one 3 years ago one of the most exciting days ever!!Gracie(Thai-LI) is now 14 1/2 yrs. and Rosie is 4 yrs. couldn’t ask for more wonderful babies. Happy New year to all the animals and humans at the Beebe Humane Sending lots of love for a great 2022

This site and those who operate are running a scam with regards to selling pets. The address is an uninhabited lot in AR and the telephone numbers are disconnected. If you apply for a pet you will get return emails or telephone calls asking for money for applications or for a purchase. STAY AWAY!!!

I adopted a cocker spaniel female who was missing a leg due to abuse. She was one of the best dogs I ever owned. She was a best friend to my other dog and they were inseparable. I bought a small stroller and she went everywhere with us. When we went for walks, many people stopped to greet and pet her. I am forever grateful to the volunteers of Beebe. Thanks so much for all of the good that you do!

DO GIVE JIMMY'S REVIEW A LOOK. I had the same experience. When they *finally* responded it was a one line email that told me "this dog would prefer a home with a fence" and despite telling them we were planning a fence for our new family member, they never got back to me. Now, over a month later, the poor puppers is still on all the adoption sites looking for a forever home when he could have been with us well before the New Year. Some "humane societies" are more interested in the control over others than helping the animals. I have no reason to think this is any different. This is why people resort to buying instead of rescuing. I hope that dog finds a home you consider acceptable soon. He's gorgeous.

Never returns emails or helps to adopt. We have tried to adopt more than once and they have never contacted us. I am glad I have a friend in the city council. They will be hearing from us.
