We are traveling cross country and our air conditioning went out. With the weather the way it is there was no way we could continue on. They fixed our air conditioner and some other sensors in two days and we were able to continue on our way. Many thanks to the whole crew at Stanley Wood and especially Stephen Sterling, who was extremely helpful.

Took my vehicle in for oil change, tire rotation, general servicing and some warranty work. After a service tech had completed the general servicing of my vehicle I was notified by the service department that some issues where supposedly found that needed addressed. The first issue was the cabin air filter needed replaces. I was told the new filter would be $75 and the replacement labor would be $100. I declined this service due to the fact that I knew that I was capable of changing it myself, which I was able to do for less than $20 and it only took me about 5 mins. The bad part it that I had only owned my vehicle for approximately 4 months and had only had possession of it for about 2 months at this point and when I changed the cabin air filter it was clogged with pine needles and other debris and the fact that there are no pine trees anywhere near my house or anywhere else that my vehicle is parked tells me that the filter was never checked at the dealership when it was serviced before I purchased it, even though I was informed that it had a full inspection before I took possession of it. The second issue that I was notified that my vehicle supposedly had was that I had I leaking front strut which is , of course, something that is not covered under warranty. I am someone who is fairly mechanically inclined and I new that the ride quality of my vehicle was very good and the the likelihood of the strut actually having a leak was slim. I was informed that the dealership would only do the repair if I agree to replace both front strut at a cost of $750/strut and a labor cost of just over $1,000. I declined this service as well and upon having my vehicle inspected by another suspension specialist of my choosing, it was determined that my entire suspension was in mint condition. So not only did the dealership lie to me about issues with my vehicle in an attempt to make an extra $2,675, some of the issues should have been address before I even purchased the vehicle, they also failed to perform the detail job on my vehicle that I specifically asked for and would have been willing to pay for.

This dealership was unable to give me a loaner vehicle while I was waiting on a back ordered part. My car was blowing hot air so yes, while it’s drivable who wants to drive a car without air in 100 degree weather? They said it was still drivable so they couldn’t give me a loaner. They also said they were low on loaner vehicles and those cars are for customers that bought at that dealership.
I called up to the GM dealership in Searcy and they said it’s been a common occurrence at the southside location. The Searcy dealership said they could get me in a loaner the next day.
I would absolutely not recommend the Stanley Wood Dealership. The sales department may be great but when it comes to the service department they greatly lack.
(The car in reference is a brand new 2024 Buick Envista with barely 2,000 miles on it and I only had it right at 2 mo.)

I brought my car in on July 3rd. They checked it out said three lug nuts could not be taken off. Told me it would cost 20.00 a piece for new nuts I guess cutting off the old ones was expensive any way I paid 191.dollars for my service. I guess for an oil change. I was disappointed because I’m 89 years old and on fixed income I did not know it would cost that much. By the way Auto Zone sells the lug nuts for 5.99 each.this is why I question my service.Happens to me all the time.

Excellent service department. Always answer my questions and easy to schedule an appointment. My husband passed away more than a year ago so it's been important to me to have people I know and trust taking care of my vehicle issues. Thanks for your patience with me as I navigate this new way of life and always taking care of my vehicle maintenance. Also, thanks for a comfortable waiting area!
