I was told about the food so I came here to pick up my call in order and watched people place orders and leave with theirs but not me. After 20 minutes of standing there I finally speak up and they have not even started my food. I was a call in order. The two young girls could not stop chatting long enough to ask me if I needed help. After all of that they messed up my meal. The lady that I assume owns it had no apologies to give. She just told me I needed to wait a few more minutes if I wanted the item they had forgotten out of my meal.

For a gas station this place is legit, cheeseburgers are a must try and the sandwiches aren’t bad either!

Who knew you could get a fried catfish lunch complete with beans, coleslaw, hush puppies and fries at a little ol' country store! Lord have mercy, this is some of the best catfish I've had down here. Rolled in cornmeal and piping hot, it doesn't get much better than this. Don't even get me started on the hush puppies... if you ever find yourself in this part of the woods, do drop in for fish Friday at the Cushman Country Store. You will want to go back!

A small country community store. Part convenience store that offers fresh pizza and fresh sandwiches with a small hardware store section in it as well. A great place to grab a bite before you head back out on the highway.
