You're really better off to pay a lot of attention to where you bank and what kind of rates they pay. First community Bank from the looks of it is the biggest bank in this area but they by far pay the lowest interest on checking accounts of any Bank around 000.1% compared to other local banks that are paying. 4.3% on checking accounts with no minimum deposit. I have an account here but don't do much activity on it. You would think that the biggest bank around would look out for their customers instead of looking out for them. So much first community Bank needs to get way more competitive. Because trust me they are making big interest on your checking accounts and savings accounts but instead of giving it back, they're keeping it all

I love this bank. Compared to experiences with other banks in this area First Community rates no. 1. The employees go out of their way to help you no matter what your problem is or how trivial it may seem to some people. Highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.
