It's sad when the atm is more helpful than the actual bank teller. I did not have my ID/license once and they adamantly refused to help me. I had my debit card and several other items to prove my identity but they refused to let me pay my rent without my Arkansas ID. I literally had my ssn, birth certificate, marriage certificate, work badge with picture on it, old California id, bank enrollment forms FROM THEM and I had a picture on my phone of my AR id. They did not care.

Updating to express how dissatisfied I am with the employee’s lack of knowledge. When I opened my accounts originally I had asked specifically if I got free checks with all accounts being an employee and was told yes. Yet today I was charged for the check I had ordered and when I called they said I only get free check on my employee account and that the employee who opened my account was confused as to what I was asking even though I was very clear.I work for Arvest in Fort Smith as a remote employee and live in Alma. I used this branch to open my employee checking accounts. They were so helpful. They answered all of my questions and did everything I asked (which was a lot.) I’d recommend them to anyone as the employees are so nice!

It's stupid that if you don't have a account there, but are cashing a check from that bank they charge 5 dollars to cash a harvest check.

I love doing all my banking at Arvest. They always treat me good. Any problems that arise they have been able to fix. Not many financial institutions go the extra mile like Arvest does. They think about you first and foremost. They have made sure my accounts are secure and stay that way.

This bank wasted our time by telling us they accept stipends as income then denied us saying they won’t accept us after running and dinged our credit credit score that we work hard to keep over 800.

This bank has very poor customer service and the branch manager is very unprofessional. It has taken 3 months to try to close the account as they continue to charge fees. At this time the account still is not closed. Is this how they raise money to "donate" to the community?

Arvest bank is terrible. They said they closed my account and then didn't. I called to close my account and they said it had to be a zero balance and they would send a cashier's check. They did not do this. When I called back because I noticed "Dormancy fees" on my account, they informed me the fees are non-refundable and it was "The customer's responsibility to call back and make sure the account was closed" They basically charged my account $5 dormancy fees every single month until the account was at a zero balance AND THEN they closed the account. I called customer service, talked to 5 different representatives, superiors, and managers, and every single one of them did not help. I was on the phone for 1.5 hours and finally after getting so fed up with fighting about these fees and how they didn't close my account in the first place when I asked them to, and send me my money, I gave up. They are not for you. They drag you around in circles and just want to charge you fees. They took my last bit of money by charging me fees. Wow. Feels like stealing. Goodbye Arvest. You have lost my business and all of my family's business for 15+ years. You're obviously just in it for the money and do not care about the customer.
