Run away from these horse traders!!!!!NEVER BUY FROM THESE GUYS!!! About a month ago while Cactus was at my trainer's place, she noticed Cactus was tender in front. A vet was called, x-rays were taken and full exam was also done and the vet says Cactus has 3/5 navicular disease and he has had navicular disease for YEARS. Big, beautiful Cactus also has severe side-bone deformity. Of course Horse of my Dreams denies all of this and told me to pound sand. I took delivery of 2 other horses from Horse of my Dreams that were also both GROSSLY MISREPRENTED. Horse of my Dreams would not issue a refund so I had to pay to trade out horses. I highly recommend you look anywhere else for a horse. Make sure what happened to me does not happen to you:

I would highly recommend working with Alisha & team at Horse of My Dreams! We purchased our gelding, Cash, in February, and we are absolutely thrilled with him!I contacted Alisha after searching for a few months for a family safe horse that my 8 year old son and I could share. I was disappointed at what many posted for sale as "kid safe," and "beginner safe." Alisha reviewed our information and made a recommendation to match us with Cash. I was nervous about purchasing a horse I had not seen and ridden in person, however, the guarantee that is offered put my mind at ease and I made the decision to purchase. Cash is exactly what we were told & more! He is kid safe for my son, and a confidence builder for me. We are happily & safely riding trails, and now both my son and I are competing in the low hunters and having a great time (and winning ribbons)! The purchase experience was easy, and the shipper that was arranged was very professional. I will look here to purchase again!

I have purchased 2 geldings from Alisha, a pony for my kids and a horse for myself, and they have both been as advertised, wonderful horses! The pony has become a fancy pasture ornament since my older kids got away fromriding, but we won’t sell him in case our youngest gets interested, bc he’s that good! Everyone that has met my boy, Tangle, loves him and he has excelled in everything thrown his way. He can do the reining moves, trail ride with the best of them, sort cows, I’ve roped off of him, and now we are getting into mounted shooting. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from Alisha again and would recommend Horse of my dreams to anyone looking for their new best friend!

I am a repeat customer of Alisha's! I first met her almost 5 years ago when I got the sweetest mini pony from her. The pony was supposed to be my little pet, because I had always wanted a mini but had never taken the plunge, but I guess he was meant to be more, for a few weeks after he arrived at my home, I found out I was expecting my first child! He was everything I was told he would be, and he has been the best little kid pony my daughter could have asked for. Over the years, I have sent Alisha updates and photos of my pony and my daughter together, and she was always happy to see how well he was doing. After getting that pony, I have loved looking at Alisha's website regularly, and seeing all the beautiful horses listed. That is how I found my next purchase from her! This time it was a gelding for myself. Not only is he gorgeous, but he is the epitome of the type of horse that is sold at this farm. He is well mannered, stable, kind and brave. He has helped rebuild my confidence after a few bad horses, and he has reignited my absolute love of riding! In the past 6 months of owning him, my husband says I spend more time in the barn than in the house! In over 30 years of having over 20 horses, there have been two 'Dream Horses' in my life, and my gelding from Alisha is one of them! Between his kind heart, and Alisha's wonderful communication and honesty, I have found my heart-horse!

Horse of my Dreams (HOMD) for our grandchildren turns into Pony of our nightmares. We had to euthanize after having him for only 8 mo.We purchased a 12 yr old pony from Alisha and received him in April of 2022. Cute as a button, perfect size and temperament as was described. But, some surprises too. Mainly related to his health history - before purchase I inquired about his history and I was told he was owned by a vet whose daughter had outgrown him. My exchanges with the business during purchase seemed sincere, honest and pleasant. Upon arrival we noticed he was branded, had hooded eyes an unusually crested neck, was overweight (He had been free fed) and urinated excessively. We took our first ride and noticed he was very reluctant to back up. I thought it was the bit, check the fit and upon inspecting his mouth noticed a scar that crossed horizontally 3/4 of his tongue, this led to a scar at the corner of his mouth and across the bridge of his nose. I contacted Alisha to find out more about this and was told they never noticed and had no problems riding him; however, if I wanted to return I could. It was clear to me there was something wrong with the pony. We didn't know exactly what it was but I intuitively knew he would not survive a trip back across the country in a trailer. Fast forward, he was under regular and constant vet and farrier care from May to December 29 when we had to put him down. After a significant process of elimination (and thousands of $ in vet bills) we discovered he had Equine Cushings (PPID), laminitis in all 4 limbs and Equine Metabolic Syndrome. He was seen by several vets and in Nov/Dec by an internal medicine specialist. All the vets told me he was in this condition long before he came to us - history also shows in the hooves. It is unfathomable that no one in this Pony's past knew of his disease. The laminitis was likely triggered by the stress of being shipped (although based on the evidence in his hooves he had had laminitis in the past); this poor animal should never have been subjected to long distance transportation. Shame on me for not having him tested before purchase. Apparently ponies are highly susceptible to PPID, lesson learned.Aside from being broken hearted, my problem here is the way I was treat after purchase. When I first asked about the scar on the tongue that HOMD didn't know about I requested that they contact the person they purchased him from for more information. I never heard back - I then contacted again when we discovered the Cushings and Laminitis. I was again brushed off, being told - we know nothing. Perhaps true, but I again requested they contact the previous owner (remember this was supposedly a vet). All I wanted was more information to determine how to best care for this poor sick pony. Alisha became irritated, provided no information from previous owner and eventually told me to contact her lawyer. Why would I do that? What would a lawyer be able to tell me about the pony's health history? For the reader that took the time to finish this narrative please see the three other 1 star reviews written within the last 9 months. Seems HOMD unloaded several problem horses recently. I am also curious as to why Richard Jacuzzi (Alisha's husband) posted a 5 star review with no narrative about a year ago?I realize that when you deal with live animals certain things are beyond your control, but helpfulness, compassion and integrity are within one's control. $20K and my grandchildren never got a ride!

The sales portion of our experience and shipping was great. From there it went downhill.I bought an unregistered quarter horse gelding for $20,000 from Horse of My Dreams. He was 16 hands, handsome about 10 years of age. He was to be a 'husband' horse. He was fine on the trails as long as other horses were in front of him and he had company. But the biggest thing that was of concern was his stumbling every time we took him out, even at a walk, and his constant head tossing, which we found out later was his discomfort. We started getting different shoes and vets to look at him and they couldn't figure out the problem. We then hired a trainer, who opened our eyes and got yet more vets involved. We paid thousands of dollars to correct his head tossing, shoeing and finally extensive X-rays.When we got back the report it was not good. The poor horse had significant arthritis in one knee and bone spurs on other legs causing him to fall and stumble and at times, significant lameness. He had to have the knee drained of fluids and many injections in both front legs with more to come to the rear legs.We showed the vet and others the video of him on the Horse of My Dreams website and they all picked up his issues, the lameness, the head tossing, not taking his leads on bad side on the videos. They all said "believe me they knew" referring to Alisha and staff being aware of his issues.Needless to say, we do all kinds of things to keep him out of pain and to always be aware to only walk him if he's ridden again. The Horse of My Dreams became the horse of our Nightmares. A full year of vetting, shoeing, trainers to have such a young horse that is basically a yard ornament now.We were told all the horses that come there are sound and safe. We did not have him vetted. Our mistake. We trusted Alisha. The vet said that there is no way that this horse developed these things in the last year, and that what is wrong with him is not a genetic predisposition but came from hard use.Buyer beware.Go in person. Have your horse X-rayed and Vetted before purchase. Their horses are not cheap. We didn't go cheap. In total for two horses we spent $50,000. Hard lesson.
