It only takes one driver to ruin your day as you head off to a doctors appointment with my 97 year old mother. Once inside this medical transport van it was so disappointing to see how dirty and foul smelling the van was.And to see the driver trying to fuss with the radio was not a good sign as soon as we drove off.He was more concerned with the radio than his driving that he drove through a stop sign with a on coming car that honked his horn at the the van. I had to yell stop, but it was too late.His apologies mattered not. I am so thankful that the oncoming car did not hit us.And according to him his navigation was sending him in a direction through a dirt road. I had to use my navigation to get us to the doctors appointment.

This is the worst transportation company ever. They take patients to their appointments earlier than they should and just drop them. Very unprofessional for people who have dementia. Their so called Manager is very unprofessional and needs to get some people skills. I bet he would not like his family treated the way he treats people. He does not belong working there. I hope the owner takes this and corrects his staff.

This was one of many experiences I hope to have with Yuma Medical Transport. The drivers for each leg of the trip were careful and kind to my elderly family member. They were punctual for the pick up. There was a delay in the return pick up but like many businesses these days, they too are short staffed. They were apologetic and returned my person home safely.I would highly recommend YMT for your transportation needs. The van was custom built for its purposes.

Above and beyond service and professionalism from this company, who recently transported my grandmother to her home for her final journey “home.” Thanks to drive Luis, who took very good care of my 95 year old grandmother. We are at ever grateful.

I live within a couple miles of the Hospital and used this service this last Wednesday for a round trip to the hospital. I was charged $89.92 for the two trips. NOT cost effective. Suggest if you live on a budget you find some other way to get to the hospital.

DRIVER with the handicap car license plate: LMZ8 was driving behind me and started honking because I didn’t go yet because cars were coming. He then proceeded to follow me and take a picture of my car, and then drove off aggressively, awesome impression to leave for this company. Won’t ever be using this service.

A driver named Antonio was very rude and disrespectful. He brought my father in law home from dialysis in very bad shape. The nurses at dialysis said my father in law was walking, talking and doing good, by the time he got home he fell and the Driver Antonio dragged him to the door of the house and left him there and yelled at my mother in law. My daughter went to ask the drive what happened and he told her he didn’t have time for sick people. My father in law was sent to the hospital because he was unresponsive.

Have ridden several times now with this company and each time have had a Great experience.. The people have been Wonderful and Friendly.. Their driving was very good, I felt very safe and welcomed with each driver I've had.. Each of them made me feel like they were not just there doing a job but they really cared about helping me get to the care I needed to get to and that was exceptional to me and ment alot.. So thank you to each driver I've had the pleasure of riding with.. The vehicles also seemed very safe and kept clean..

Yuma Medical Transport provides non-emergency transportation for people in wheelchairs or on stretchers. In other words, if the individual does not require an ambulance, yet they cannot manage getting in and out of a car, Yuma Medical Transport has vans equipped to handle the elderly and the handicapped. I have used this company several times to transport my mother. The employees are reliable and compassionate. If your insurance does not cover it, the cash fee is reasonable under the circumstances - providing help and safety for your loved one. My only complaint is the waiting time. It can take from 20 minutes to 3 hours for a van to arrive. For that, they do not deserve 5 stars. But I gave them 5 stars anyway, because I know I can trust them to do their job right. A special thanks to R., a man of great integrity.
