NOT A COIN STORE!!I fail to see how this store possesses a Google rating of 4.6. The experience was awkward to say the least. Big sign says silver and gold, buy sell trade im all about it. I go into shops all over the US and buy Bullion, coins, and numismatics from all over the world. I open the door and the first thing I think of is military surplus although extremely unorganized I decided to follow the narrow entry in where I see a store full of trash on the floor. I ask about seeing coins. He asks what am I looking for? I said I am just wanting to look and possibly buy if anything gets my attention (by the look of the store that wasn't going to happen) he says the coins are buried in trays. I'm like ok? He says I have to know what your looking for, I'm thinking to myself "can't I just go into a store and look?" ?. Asked him about silver eagles, he said he doesn't have silver eagles and tries to explain to me how a silver eagle is not a coin. At that point I really feel like I walked into someones dirty living room while their nesting their shotgun looking for intruders ? instead of a coin store, OR ANY TYPE OF STORE and we left. I really have no clue how these reviews here are even accurate. Maybe they are just friends but "THIS" review isn't meant to bash anyone but honestly review my experience in this "store". I'm sure if they cleaned up and properly displayed products they would be a gem of a store (coming from a retail store owner of coins, and gold/silver). In the words of the great Forest Gump "That's about all I have to say about that"

It's an acquired place to shop, it may not be for everyone but it is to my liking. It's like stepping into an old style country general store. Gonna be a regular customer!

You also have to take into account who Mike is, former Scout Leader, Shooter, Hunter, just a great Outdoorsman, along with the people you meet in Mike's shop. Met another accomplished shooter/Trainer, just good to find a place to chat it up with. Go in, you'll never know what you'll find or who you may run into.Yuma Gun & Coin is a great place to chat it up with Mike or his clientele, a throw back from these newer businesses you just don't get on a more personal interaction.Truly Honest American Business, need more places like Yuma Coin & Gun.Thanks also to Maribel, amongst his Team that helps Mike!

This store is extremely clean and highly organized. I've never seen any place so neat and tidy. Every nook and cranny was off the floor and in a nice organized position. What a healthy place to go and bring your children and admire the good hygiene practices of this company.

On a return trip I went to check out their military surplus supplies for an upcoming Comic Con and boy howdy, did I find some hidden treasures! With this store (I'm assuming) the only one in Yuma I expect and did find was I was looking for and more. Great finds and decent prices; the owner was present and he did me a solid by working with me so I could have the most 'bang for my bucks.' Not a gun guy but yes, they had a good collection of them as well. Worth the trouble of shifting thru things to find whatever you're looking for. With a knowledgeable staff to boot...literally. "I shall return" for more bargains for sure!

Looking for an Army surplus store, with new and classic handguns and rifles, and other knick-knacks? This is the place. They also premium honey. I enjoyed talking to the staff, and found the store to be worth a visit.

Very honest and upfront, almost bought a gun from them, but was upfront about how hard it was to find the ammunition. So I ending up walking out with another great rifle instead, and had a great conversation about the gun I bought. Lots of cool military surplus pieces as well.

The fact that coin is listed first in this company name is a joke. The place is packed with military and firearms while the 5 coin cases are buried under mountains of excess inventory. Bullets, clothing, etc all sit on top so you cannot see any coins. When I asked to see some things up close, they were low end pieces. I asked if they had better coins and was told those were all sent to a dealer in Phoenix. Don't waste your time if you are you looking for any quality coins.
