Our swim team came here to stay from Colorado for a competition. Out of all the hotels we’ve stayed at on our travel trips, we, as coaches, agreed that this is one of the best! The service was outstanding. The staff is always going above and beyond. Someone was cleaning at all times! We were highly grateful for Anissa and Alanis, who were patient and hospitable with our entire group, including the kids. Hopefully, we can return next year to stay for the 2025 competition.Food & drinks: For breakfast they served more than your typical continental breakfast. They had eggs, bacon, bagels, cream cheese, bread, yogurt, cereal, and more!

Good hotel, stayed here for 2 weeks. Rooms very spacious and sink is outside the bathroom which is nice. Hotel front desk staff always very friendly and respond to request promptly. Some road noise from the highway nearby but it is not too bad. Close to in-out burger and other fast food chains.Rooms: Small fridge, sink and microwave. Pull out sofa and king sized bed.

Enjoyable visit. Room was clean and comfortable, furniture & bed in good condition. Window could be opened slightly for fresh air - a big plus for us. Only one negative - need more conveniently accessible power outlets (likely a function of the age of the property).Public area downstairs is spacious with several areas suitable for working. The breakfast served is strictly Marriott fare, but ingredients were fresh, plenty of scrambled eggs & sausage, fruit and condiments.Public areas (lobby, downstairs bathroom, pool area) were always clean and orderly during our stay. The Cracker Barrel restaurant just down the street is very convenient, being within walking distance.Parking is adequate with spaces on both sides of the hotel, and with good lighting.Staff are always helpful here, whether it be a fresh pot of coffee or extending breakfast service just a bit longer. This Springhill Suites is popular among government employees and military so we’re always careful to make our reservations well in advance. Looking forward to our next visit.Rooms: Room was in excellent condition - clean and in good order.Safety: Adequate lighting in front and back parking areas. We arrived late several evenings and parked at the rear of the building. Path to the hotel is well lighted and easily accessible.Walkability: Cracker Barrel restaurant and ‘Penny’s Diner’ within walking distance. For more adventurous- a Hooters and ‘Kneaders’ (bakery / restaurant) is located in the nearby Palms Mall (about a 10 minute walk), but requires crossing 16th Street at a controlled intersection. This can be done safely.Noteworthy details: The Yuma community has an extensive collection of public art. Spring Hill Suites is a short drive (+/- 5 minutes) from the downtown Yuma area, where many of these works can be seen.

Hotel rooms are clean and pretty modern. But the rooms do come with some quirks; strangely placed wall mounted light switches, tiny light switches on lamps, absolutely minimal power outlets. The lamps do have built in USBs but in this modern world they don't push enough amps. Also you shouldn't be sticking your things into unknown USBs. The cabinet/quad cubbyholes above the wet bar sink greatly impedes your ability to use the sink, unless you are a child sized human.Additionally, my generic allergy medicine went missing from the bathroom vanity. It probably rolled into the trash and house keeping threw it away by accident.

Hospitality was great. Employees were great. The rooms have a lot of space. The environment made me feel high class for a moment but I was then brought back to reality when it was time to check out.

Little background:I travel OFTEN for work and stay in hotels. At least 70% of the year. I have a habit of keeping my room extremely tidy. I don't have my things spread across my room, etc. I also do not require housekeeping to clean my room more than once a week to change bedding, towels, and to replace trash bags & toilet paper. On the days housekeeping DOES come in my room to clean, I pack up all my belongings (i.e., hygiene bags, charging cables, etc). So once they get in my room, it seems as if I never unpacked. The ONLY things I leave out are my products in the shower. Although this hotel provides shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower- I still like to use my own face wash and conditioner (especially in this dry climate). Fast forward:There was a problem with my sink and it would take 24 hours before the water would be turned back on in my room. The front desk was able to provide me another room. However, it shared a door with a room which had a loud, crying baby. I get up each morning at 4 am for work and wouldn't be able to get adequate sleep if I stayed in that room. The front desk allowed me to sleep in my original room, while only using the secondary room to use the restroom and sink. Awesome- that was a workable temporary solution. I understand that meant I would be taking up two rooms momentarily, but realistically- two rooms would have been unavailable either way since no one would be able to stay in the room without water. I woke in the morning, grabbed my clothes and whatever else was needed, showered and got dressed in the spare room, then proceeded to grab my dirty clothes and my hygiene bags to finish getting ready in my original room, and I hung the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the spare door. I did not take my shower stuff since I was planning to return and shower in that room after work. After work, the sign was missing from the door and my key did not work for either room. After speaking with the front desk again, they decided to book the spare room to someone else, said the water was turned back on in my room but I couldn't use the bathroom sink for 24 hours- instead I was instructed to use the living area sink (secondary sink). However, my shower stuff was not in my original room- and no one had moved it from the spare room. I checked with the front desk, who checked with housekeeping. I was expecting to hear:1) "Housekeeping bagged your belongings, let me grab them."Or2) "It was accidentally thrown away."Something with an explanation. NOPE. I was told, "Housekeeping said nothing was there." What? I KNOW without a doubt I left my stuff in the shower. I even double-checked all my bags. Nothing. My stuff didn't just walk away or disappear. I'd rather be told, "it must've accidentally been thrown away." Instead, they doubled-down. Almost insinuating that I was wrong and/or lying. One of the front desk ladies even resorted to explain how hotels work- which I found was a bit condescending. "You see... we don't just ASSIGN someone a room. We actually have housekeeping CLEAN rooms before we assign them."Yup. Thanks for insulting my intelligence. Yes... I fully understand how hotels work. Then she offered to replace my things with amenities. I don't think she was grasping that a single-use hotel toothbrush will not replace my high-end conditioner. But whatever. I was over it after the condescending instruction. *There's an unsettling feeling when you highlight a concern to the staff, and they gaslight you.*When anything (no matter how small) goes missing, it's concerning. Then we ask ourselves - "What else could possibly be missing?" It leaves you questioning. I was more upset that my high-end hair conditioner (brand new bottle) was missing. More so than my razor, loofa, and face wash. (The other items can be picked up anywhere- but the conditioner I have to order online.) *Summary: I (100%) no longer trust the staff with entering my room for any reason. And anyone who stays h

Great hotel, but the front desk personnel were always gone it seemed. But they would return 5-10 minutes later.

Nothing fancy, this is a clean, comfortable hotel. The front desk was friendly and efficient on check-in. The room was clean and spacious. We spent one night. Good location, close to the freeway. The room was quiet. I'd stay here again.

This is such a cozy hotel with great amenities! Everything else we need for shopping or excursions is nearby, which is so convenient. The staff could not be more friendly or helpful!

The Wi-Fi was out of service. But we do have a number for you to call and spend 15 minutes and they will hook you up. Why weren't we notified when we made the reservation or checked in that there was a problem with the Wi-Fi?

Used to be one of the greatest value stays. Now there cable TV always buffers. A 30 minute show takes 45 minutes to view because of buffering. They went cheap on the breakfast. The bacon is translucent. But worth the elevated price in comparison to others nearby. You lost it Springhill.Get it back

This is a nice, clean hotel with uncomfortable furniture. We average 250-300 nights a year in hotels around the nation and the furniture in this one makes a great hotel into a so-so hotel. The couch has low arms and hard cushions so you have the choice of sitting straight up with your arms hanging or slouching uncomfortably with you back twisted. The desk chair feels like a hard wood chair and doesn't tilt, even though it's a DESK CHAIR, so your choices are to sit up straight with your arms hanging or slouch uncomfortably with your back twisted, weird. The bed is so soft it makes a strange contrast with all of the uncomfortable bits. When you lay down you sink into the mattress.I recommend the hotel to everyone that likes soft beds and has no intention of sitting anywhere else.

While traveling down to Yuma my wife called in to check about reservations because the website did not allow booking online, in the process of checking prices the man got very rude that she was dealing with and he advised her to not call back and waste his time...When she explained that she was going to check elsewhere.Ended up booking a beautifulAirbnb for less than half the price!
