“My niece attends this school and she really enjoys it. She loves her teachers and she has made many friends there. Happy Trails offers her a variety of activities including arts, crafts, water play days and summer field trips. I like knowing that she is always provided healthy meals and is well taken care of. The fact that they provide transportation to and from school is an added bonus.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Casa de Ninos! I was very nervous about putting my son in daycare and I toured a few different facilities. This was my last stop and I was so overwhelmed. I broke out in tears because of my fears and the staff were incredibly warm and kind. It felt like a very safe place. My son thrived and adjusted within the first few days which was surprising to me because he has separation anxiety. He loved going to school and was so happy when I picked him up. We moved out of Yuma and now I fear I won't find another daycare as amazing as Casa de Ninos. We already miss them so much!”

“We love this Pre-School, our son has a speech delay and his teachers work really hard to help him communicate and understand what he is saying. Jackie has been amazing and is taking extra time one on one to help him sound out his words. They are incredibly respectful of our beliefs and have gone above and beyond to make our son feel special and included in activities. All of the teachers and helpers great you with a smile and are kind and positive everyday. This is a wonderful place for our son to feel safe and learn!”

“Love it here we started going when my oldest was 2 (7 next month) the staff is great with the kids. So when I had my second son it wasn't as hard to leave him. He will be 4 this yr and still loves his day care. They are willing to work with parents if you just communication. They are fast to let you know exactly what happened if you child even gets a small red mark. Full attention is always on the kids.”

“Leslie Short: I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience at the Big Red Barn. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and compassion. I hope that you will give us an opportunity to correct this with you in person. We have many amazing things to offer but we are not for everyone. Yes our building has an open floor plan so there is no sound separation from class to class however the children are not stuck in one room all day either. They transition to different areas in the school such as a separate library area, arts and craft area, outside with plants/animals and the dining room. At the Big Red Barn we have two horses, a miniature donkey, two goats, a dozen chickens, three peacocks, two pigs, four ducks, 3 dogs, fish tanks, and birds. We do have rabbits that are outside animals they are temporarily inside because they will be getting veterinarian care this week. We do have a full-time veterinarian care for the health, well being and safety of our animals. We also employ a full time animal person to handle daily clean up and repairs. During the summer we spend time refinishing, re painting and cleaning our outside toys and playground area while children are not using it due to the summer heat warnings. So yes I might agree things are in a state of transition getting ready for the new school year. We also employ a full time cleaning lady to keep our school at its best.Again I apologize if you did not feel you got the answers you were looking for regarding curriculum and education of our staff. I will be more than happy to further discuss that with you just for clarification. Our concept of hands on learning our open floor plan ideas, transitions and animals are what makes us different. This concept is not for everyone and that's ok. However respecting others views even if they are different and being factual are things that should be taken in consideration when posting reviews. Even if you decide to not be a part of our program I would like a chance to make right any misconceptions you may have regarding our program. Thank you”
