I would never rent from Hertz rent a car again. A car rental is always 24 hours, but not with Hertz it's actually a 19 hour rental then they start charging you after 19 hours. An hourly fee and if you go over 2 hours which is still only 21 hours then your getting charged a second day rental. Awful customer service on the phone. You have to go in to the place to get anything fixed. And then the car I had the lights were so dim and the brights didn't work so I'm glad I made it to my destination alive because I could barely see through the mountains.

I just had reserved 4 day's ago a car and had to canceled for personal reasons and I was charge $50 for canceling my reservation that is a bunch of BS

Great experience with Hertz. Payed for my rental online and the price was amazing. I let hertz choose the car and all needs where accommodated. The vehicle is in great service. Had no negative experience with this company. Thank you!!

What a bad experience! I even was dealing with the manager. I booked a car, same day online, went to pick it up ended up not leaving with a car. 1st person i was dealing with was ok, but couldn't tell me a total. Said my card was declined, there was enough fund, i made sure of this. I had a sleeping baby in our RV so i went out, husband came in was told we can use a debit card. Manger told my husband to have me come back, switched again. Same thing again, Manger then told me to call my card company, I did nothing was wrong with my card. Manger then told me that my credit card was a debit card, that why it wouldn't go through. The manger was able to give a total but gave me three different totals, ranging from 400somthing to 600 something. When asked she couldn't explain why the prices was different. I never do reviews, but this experience was terrible. Will never go through them again! Wasted two hours!

I simply called to find out if I was able to book a rental without having a major credit card. Spoke to Michelle and she was extremely rude and continued to interrupt me as I was asking questions. She began to recite a long list of requirements as she was interrupting my questions. I understand that the rental business may get stressful and busy, however it does not take much to be a little more courteous on the phone. VERY disappointed

HERTZ personnel at the Yuma International Airport location are consummate Professionals. They treat each customer with respect.

Service was poor, cars beat up, and they consider an Ecosport a large sedan. It looked like a tree fell on the car they gave me and it was way too small for four people and four bags of luggage.

Gabriel, your customer service needs work. I typically have great interactions with this branch. However today Gabriel must have been having a bad day. To tell a customer that comes there at least 10 times a year that you are unable to help them with a problem with your car, that you rented them, and it is my problem, is not how you maintain or gain repeat customers. I truly hope your management team, who I have had great dealings with in the past, help you progress in the customer service education.

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for my experience with this place-mainly with Gloria! My partner and I were stuck off of an interstate an hour away from Yuma one night. We were desperate to get home to San Diego but kept hearing from insurance companies and tow companies that we'd have to sit tight til the morning. My hopes were still high in finding a tow company but we needed to secure a rental to drive back home too. The only rental car company currently open was Hertz in Yuma and when I called, Gloria picked up. I very briefly told her about our situation and she was immediately empathetic and she just insisted she'd be there when I got there no matter what. We finally got a tow and headed to Yuma. When I got to Hertz at 10:20pm, Gloria was there ready with our car just as she promised and as she assured me the whole night that she would. She was so kind, personable and understanding-I swear I could have cried when I hopped into that rental. My heart is still so full and I still believe I witnessed a Christmas miracle then. It was such a stressful night and Gloria was just this bright light in it all. I know we were blessed, I know we got lucky, and I still shake my head thinking about it all and smile. I truly felt the Holiday spirit with Hertz! Thank you so much!

One of the most amazing car rental experiences we've had in a long time. Which was a very warm welcome in a very stressful time! Gloria and Gabriel couldn't have taken better care of us and made sure we were happy AND COMFORTABLE!Thanks guys!

Rented a pickup in Yuma AZ. I refused the fuel package (and returned the pu full) and was not told there was a charge for a second driver. When I signed the electronic signature pad I thought I was signing the rental agreement... instead they have me agreeing to the fuel package and a charge for the second driver. The printer was down so I did not get a copy of anything. WATCH what you are signing! A total rip-off!

Update 2: we have the truck! Thank goodness, it was a trial, but they fixed the situation, so yeah.Update: contacted us at 9 pm and said they will have a truck for us at 10 am. We shall seeMy husband rented a truck and paid for it and when we went to pick it up they didn't have one! 4 hours later and the problem isn't resolved, no money back, no truck, nothing! And they won't answer the phone, either. So upset and disappointed.
