DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS DUMPY DRY CLEANERS. They lost my white slacks. Finally located and returned with yellow stains. After speaking with the owner(s) (MIKEL AND EMILY WHITE), who was extremely defensive, unprofessional and rude, he took no responsibility. As soon as you walk through the door, a crabby girl shouts for you to close the door completely. Owner too cheap to repair and 1kw of electricity may escape. This was one ugly, miserable girl. Employees are poorly trained and working in sweatshop conditions.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR........Take your clothes to LAPEL DRY CLEANING (recently opened) in Yuma. Great prices, staff and service.Mikel is a pathetic excuse for a business owner in a small, under-served community. Spoiled local brat that is running his parents’ business into the dirt. Move to a large city, Mikel.....you won’t last one year.

They gave me a different price @ location when i saw i was overcharged, i called back and mentioned it was way too much for a dry press for a single dress, 30.62 was the initial amount. They made it right by changing it, they kept the remaining for future dry cleans. All though they made it right, the bad taste in my mouth is already there, just seems untrusting to be charged by what they want instead of what it is. PLEASE LIST YOUR PRICES.

Never again will I use Melody. I took my husband's suit to be cleaned and pressed for his Mother's Funeral. Their machine broke down. No call tomorrow is the funeral.

I can't physically do the work, so I had to use a dry cleaning service. Unfortunately, the costs became more than I could justify, so I purchased an external steam tank iron with a forced-air ironing board. Even when I pay someone to do the job, it should pay for itself in a year or so.

It is with a very, very heavy heart I write this review. My yellow jacket, the one I’ve been wearing for the past 2 years, the one most local business professionals recognize me in, is no longer and it’s all thanks to this company, Melody Cleaners of Yuma, Arizona. For the first time in over a decade I needed a new dry cleaner as the one I had previously gone to has shut down, allegedly due to illegal activity. Whatever they were doing I can tell you what they never did, ruin any of the garments I had brought there over the past decade.I reached out to my friends on facebook and almost unanimously the mentioned Melody Cleaners. So I took my jacket there. I’ll readily admit it was not as vibrant as it once was, but it was by no means dull either. It was still very much YELLOW. It also had a mustard stain on it that someone pointed out to me a couple days earlier, fortunately again the jacket was yellow! I dropped it off gave clerk my information, they registered me in the system and I was very known as a new customer. They asked if I had it dry cleaned before and I confirmed it had been many times just not in the last 4 months. I left it and they said it’d be ready Monday after 4pm.Monday 4PM I come in with my 5 year old daughter and they pull my jacket. But it wasn’t my jacket. It was brown. My daughter makes the obvious comment “that’s not your jacket daddy, that’s brown not yellow”. The clerk calls someone above her and they explain to her it had a chemical reaction and that’s why its now brown. I stated this is unacceptable. The clerk pointed to a “cover your butt” style sign on the wall that says they do not guarantee dyes. I was less than happy with the outcome. They offered to lighten it. My options were to take a ruined jacket or let them try and fix it. I opted to let them fix it and was told to come back Thursday after 4pm.I came in today, Thursday, after 4pm and upon seeing it on the carousel I thought well its yellow, but oh is it dingy! It looks like the whole jacket was dirty, not just the edges. The edges were dingy upon bringing the jacket in, and now it just looks spread through out the whole jacket.I was not happy. I was a little worried so I brought along the matching pants to see how much color difference there might have been (see photo attached). I asked at this point why they, with knowing I was a new client and this jacket clearly had dyes in it, did not point out the sign on the wall. The answer was something like “it’s on the wall”. With a dozen other signs and decorations throughout the establishment. Before I grabbed my jacket, I wanted to confirm they were not going to charge me for this. Oh no, I owed them the clerk stated. The initial “service” I would need to pay for, the “redo” was complimentary. So I confirmed that they ruined my jacket and they wanted me to pay for that, and she replied in the affirmative. I told them this suit cost me $300 2 years ago (although I just found it for $165 online, it was an Alberto Nardoni suit). Still did not budge and so I left without my jacket. I told the clerk to let the owner know I was not pleased; my phone number is in their system and they could call me.Had they given me my jacket this would have been a 2-star review, they did remove the mustard stain and it would have saved with little good will there was. By making my dingy jacket their hostage it is now a 1-star review. Now I am blown away by all the recommendations for this place, I don’t get it. The people were pleasant, but this was a horrible 1st experience for me. As the only dry-cleaning option left in Yuma I’m now forced to take my dry cleaning to El Centro for any future work as I will not give this “reputable” establishment any of my money.

I wound up having an issue with the price on my tablecloths that I dropped off. After speaking with the owner, we got it resolved and she kept the customer happy. Thank you very much Emily

I regret having them do my laundry. Their wash and fold service is the worst I've ever had. They will wash your clothing and they won't lose anything, however the clothing will come back wrinkled like it was bunched up in a ball for hours. I spoke to an employee and they said they fold it immediately after it comes out of the dryer and it always comes out wrinkled for all customers and that's just the way it is. And if I wanted it to be pressed I needed to pay for a "pressed service". I have used many "wash and fold" services at numerous dry cleaners throughout the entire country in the past and never had an experience like this before. If you want to have to iron all of your clothing with starch and you don't mind spending extra time having extremely difficult wrinkles to remove then go ahead and use their service. Friendly staff, horrible wash & fold service, and expensive compared to many other places where they actually place your shirts on hangers and you get your clothing without wrinkles despite it only being a wash and fold service. They were unapologetic, and had no interest in trying to rectify the situation at all. If you wash and dry your clothing at home and you take your clothing out of the dryer and hang it up it won't wrinkle. They're not gonna do that for you. They are going to leave it somewhere then fold it, making it almost impossible for you to get the wrinkles out without starching and ironing.

New to the area, I picked the wrong place for alterations. When I took in a pair of curtains to be shorten and hemmed, the young lady said it would be between $15 and $20, so I said okay and left them. Picked the curtains up yesterday, the total was $32. What? The young lady stated the quoted price was for each curtain. What? And what the heck is the $2 fee for? So if you take in pants to be shorten and hemmed, better ask if the price is for one leg or the pair of pants. Bad business! In defense of the assistant Katy, she was pleasant and courteous but sadly did not tell the truth. Definitely lost any of my future business. Sue C.
