Arrived late and requested a quiet room!
Nancy at the evening reception was very helpful and friendly. She upgraded me to a little cottage style room on the edge of the hotel.
Just across the street was an excellent restaurant for dinner!
I can highly recommend this place and would stay there anytime!!!

Actually pleasantly surprised. I expected a little worse conditions but overall not bad. What do I mean? Bed was good, linens and pillows were fresh, shower was good including water pressure, and the HVAC unit in my room had clean filters. As I travel quite a bit for work, I have a very specific cleaning and check routine and this room passed no problem.
The potential issues for some people are the following smaller toilet configuration, TV is just ok, no WiFi if across the street (which I was), and breakfast is really a snack more than anything.
Nearby activities: Old Yuma downtown
Walkability: Yuma landing is a bar and grill right there and is easily a good choice for food instead of all the chain restaurants.

Tiny room. Disappointing breakfast. Disgusting toilet. A/C was weak. Very high price for such a run down dirty room.
Rooms: The room was tiny. The furniture was nice, but the walls & curtains were dirty. The floor had dark carpet so who knows what lurked down there, I walked around with my shoes on. The bed was comfy. The a/c was pathetic, took forever to cool the room down. The bathtub made loud noises cuz it didn't sit right & had no stopper. The water pressure was almost non-existent. Then the toilet, seat was so loose, I didn't wanna sit on it. Then I noticed nasty hairs, dried pee & other specks of who knows what on the area behind the seat. Absolutely DISGUSTING.
Food and drinks: There was no free breakfast at the restaurant next door. It was in the lobby. They had fruit, yogurt, cold cereal, muffins, waffles, and oatmeal. It was quite disappointing.
Noteworthy details: Reading the reviews was very misleading. There IS NO FREE BREAKFAST AT A RESTAURANT. This review was written October 2024.

The stay was normal expectations for the price but the office does not have phone number available. Had to call YUMA POLICE department to retrieve belongings I forgot in room because there is no email response either.
Noteworthy details: Street noise from loud exhausts was only thing they can't control

We have stayed at this hotel for the last few years and was great. However ,our last stay was not so pleasant. They gave us a room that was not cleaned and had to switch rooms. There was street racing going on outside which made it hard to sleep. The awesome warm sit down breakfast next door is no longer included. Just a continental breakfast now. Bummer.

This is a very clean hotel. It is located close to everything. The bed is very comfortable. The water pressure is great. I highly recommend!!!!!!!

Terrible, terrible. Dirty, smelly, outdated, severely unkempt. I just wanted to get out. I didn't take my shoes off and was so uncomfortable but would have rather slept in my clothes so my skin wouldn't touch anything in there. The ac did not work at all. Blech. Avoid this place. I'm so glad we got there really late so only needed to be in here for a few hours.

Room is smelly, stained carpet and walls. Tub outdated, toilet handle broken, A/C barely functional. Free breakfast ìs greasy.

Noteworthy details: Spend $20 more for more suitable hotel in Yuma.

This is truly a great place to stay if you want to relax and have a good time! Wonderful service from the staff, the hot tub is amazing, and the breakfast is delicious. I had the best oatmeal ever! The best part is that if you are a Wyndham member you'll get the perks!!
Nearby activities: Therapeutic Massage within walking distance (Jessica is very good) and a few blocks from historic Downtown with shopping mall (Not like those new big malls either) and a Childrens Museum ( that is new, but that's ok).

Food and drinks: Sports bar across the street, and grocery store within walking distance (1 block).

The Coronado Motor Hotel located in Yuma offers some positive aspects but also presents several critical issues. Breakfast, managed together with the adjacent restaurant, is certainly one of the hotel's strong points: rich, varied and of higher quality than many other similar structures. This element alone can make a stay enjoyable for many guests.
However, beyond the breakfast, the hotel leaves room for improvement. The expectations for a structure of this category were partly disappointed, the room needs updating and not all the staff encountered proved to be available to the customer's requests.
