There wasn't a water bottle in the room. Arriving late to the hotel, it would be helpful to have a bottle of water in the room. The staff suggested that I could drink from the bathroom, fantastic!! Anyway I went to my car to get water and the keycard did not work on the way back and the staff couldn't open the door either. I had to wake up my wife and kid to get in, and if I had no one in the room I would be locked out of my room until the situation is resolved, which the staff said would be some time tomorrow, wow!!! This was one of the worst stays I had, and I don't think I will stay at any comfort inn again. The breakfast was bland as well, but at that point it had no importance.

The bed was hard for me. My mom found her bed comfortable. The breakfast was very good, especially the sausage and gravy.
Rooms: Decent size, comfortable rooms.
Nearby activities: Hiking and sun tanning
Safety: Felt safe
Walkability: You could walk to get food
Food and drinks: Several restaurants, fast food joints, gas stations, and a grocery store nearby.
Noteworthy details: Ask for a room overlooking the pool, the mountains behind the hotel are quite a sight.

Extremely overpriced. No amenities worth using, no food on site except for a motor lodge Continental breakfast. For an inn and suites, they charge for it, but you could have saved a bundle and had bigger rooms with nicer facilities at the Shiloh just down the road. There is literally nothing to do in the area but fast food, truck stop and rent a U-Haul. No real shopping, nothing fun, no parks. If you bring your own dune buggy, the off roading around is epic, but other than that, got to Cocopah and have something to do and eat on site or the Shiloh and save some money with nicer rooms and stuff to do nearby.

7/7/2024 I couldn't get my Choice Hotels app to make a reservation for me, so I called the hotel, and Julio got me lined up with a room. It cost me a few dollars extra, but that's not this hotel's fault.
The room was fine, except there was no freezer in the room. I travel with meds that need to be kept cold and this wouldn't let me refreeze my ice packs.
Parking was tight because someone parked their truck and boat on the curb in the driveway. Three stars ? ? ?

Within walking distance of food. These hotels in AZ should not be allowed to have fridges without freezers in them tho. Man, it's AZ and for the whole week I was there it was 108 every day! You couldn't even buy ice cream to take back to your room because there was no freezer to keep it.
Any frozen food I musually buy from Walmart to meet my needs during that week I was there to work was a no-no because no freezer. Instead, I had to buy food (mostly fast food) everyday!
They had a nice breakfast spread everyday tho.

I travel a lot. This hotel was what I want in a hotel. Clean. Cold AC that runs so I can hear the fan to fall asleep to, clean comfortable bed, multi pillows, nice TV, hot water with good pressure and quiet. Would recommend.
