Waited over a year for a new debit card after being told numerous times that it would only take a month or two at most. Eventually gave up on this effort and this bank as a whole. You should do the same.Edit: after seeing this review they gave a me a new card finally with expedited delivery. Props for that

I Had Joined AEA Since 1994, Until Recently I Have Had Banking Problems With Their Services And No One Answers The Phone. It's Time To Look Into Other Options.

Avoid, not military friendly. No able to work with you. Husband was on deployment and was not available to access accounts . Very rude employee Martha disrespected husband on phone numerous. Be advised- Bank elsewhere.

AEA Bank is not very reliable in their customer service provided. I made an appointment because I have visited multiple times to open an account, waiting three weeks for my new debit card, and to unlock my checking account. I wait thirty minutes past my appointment time until I walk up to the teller desks. Israel was awesome! Very cooperative and helpful. I recommend him a lot. The teller desks there are more useful than personal appointments i believe because whenever I go in to this bank the employees just distracted with side conversation.

Worst bank ever they're so behind on everything is just ridiculous other credit unions don't block Uber or Lyft or block your card every time you use Uber Lyft after three times if not two there's so behind on everything this is ridiculous I don't know why that big still exist they really need to shut down and have a real bank bank there because they were understand what a Lyft and Uber is there a taxi service

AVOID AEA LIKE A PLAGUE. This bank really sucks. My debit card expired and they sent me a new one super late. Other banks usually send you a new one a month or more before expiration. On top of that I had to pay for its delivery and my account went into overdraft, which came with more fees. I pay $7/mo. for "Advantage Checking"?? Whats my advantage? Ive been countlessly locked out of my account due to security and site maintenece. While deployed in Afghanistan AEA FCU never answed the phone to help unlock my accounts. I waited hours and days trying to reach AEA lol. It never happened and I resolved it back in the states 5 months later.

I have no issues with the employees at AEA, but when the bank takes away banking options without any other options what are we to do? You got rid of POP money where I can transfer money from one bank to another or from personal account to another, but you don't support Zelle?! Now how am I to move money to a real high yield savings account without writing a check? I don't see any real benefits for staying with you as a bank anymore.

No after hours customer service available. Both atms at the main branch are not working. Will AEA be paying my fees now that I'm being forced to use another institution's atm?

Don't ever try to contact them over the phone , they will leave you on hold and never answer. It happens every time

This is the worst Bank I have ever worked with both of my parents passed within 24 hours of each other, there was a balanced Owen of 12600.00 . I could have paid it off I told them that , so they chose to take over the accounts even though I am executor they put me off to have conversations with me for a month . And they took over their mobile home told me they will they would put locks on the door And gave me 3 days to leave I flew in from Washington State to handle all all the estate issues and they would not recognize me As being the executor even though they had the will stating that I was , and the death certificates , they confirmed that I was the executor and the rightful heir .They were rude unavailable and very unprofessional. They said they would put the home up for sale charge me for real estate agent and anything that had to be done for the property And get back to me They still have not done that no contact won't answer the phone . When I got back to Washington state it turned out the credit score that was run on me to keep the home and stay in my parents home was higher than reported to me when they ran it in Yuma . I couldn't even report this to the AEA bank because they won't answer their phone or keep in contact with me. I could have paid it off and I had told them that . Bottom line is I got my parents home taken away from me that was left to me , due to their incompetence.
