I've witnessed a few custom who came in upset and in a hurry, only to leave after they've been helped by the clerk with a big smile and at times joking and laughing. “This is a great location! It's the only one I'll use from now on. It's a tiny building, but there was no line. Sandy was super helpful, friendly, and patient.”

“We love this Litchfield Park branch! The employees are great and super helpful. It can get busy but the line moves fast. There's a convenient package drop near the front entrance for pre-paid items.”

“This is our go to USPS location and only the best people work here like Yashashree, Rainee and her colleagues.

Today, 08/16/24, we had a new passport appointment for my daughter. Rainee was the passport agent attending us. She was very kind, courteous and diligent yet swift at her work.

The passport process transpired:

1. We went in there and stood in the queue for the passport.
2. The passport agent will call you when it’s your turn to go in.
3. The passport agent will take your completed new passport form (DS-11), the original Birth certificate, one photo copy of the birth certificate.
4. You have to provide photo ID for both the parents (DL, state ID etc) and photo copies of the IDs. Both will have to sign the form as well.
5. If you have photo appointment, the passport agent will instruct you on how they are going to take picture of your newborn. Just follow the instructions.
6. Agent will ask you if you want it to be processed normal or expedited way (expedited for a $60 extra fee)
7. Go to the kiosk along with the agent to pay the fee using cash, Debit card or a check.

Documents to carry for newborn/minor new passport:
1. DS-11 completed in Black ink, no mistakes.
2. Birth Certificate of minor original (they keep it, you get it in mail 2-3 weeks after passport is delivered).
3. Photo Copy of the birth certificate of the minor (black n white).
4. Photo copy of both parents IDs (black n white) along with original (you get them back).

All these negative reviews are from the disgruntled people who were denied the service as either they didn’t follow the process, didn’t read the instructions, or they had no proper documents (Birth certificate is a must).
When I conversed with the agents here about all these negative reviews, their take was “people do not bring in the right documents, do not fill the forms correctly and blame us for the service received”.
And trust me agents are right!
One such incident happened in-front of me, the guy forgot his birth certificate and he was denied the service.

Not the agents fault. 5 ⭐️!”

“I love our post office, they always give me mail. Without the post office, i wouldn't get mail. Bills won't be paid, people won't be contacted, nothing will be followed up on.....cheers Mr. Postman”

“I have an online craft business, so I am at the Post Office a lot. This staff is better than four other USPS locations that I've regularly been to. They seem to work together better than other locations. It's a rough job, but it feels like they're trying their best here.

There's also a convenient drive up mailbox and in the lobby, a small package drop off for boxes under a certain size.”

“Everyone is so nice at this post office. It is very busy at this location but you can use self help station if you want to. They have instructions you can use credit or debit cards on those too.”

“Always had a good experience coming to this USPS station. Very fast service with no lines every time I've been there. Though the USPS service is inside a Storage Facility building, they seem to have all the shipping materials and services you would find at a regular USPS Office. Pickup time for the USPS driver is at 2:00pm, so get your packages before that time. Parking space is limited.”

“I send and receive here. Only had a few problems in the years I've been at this location with packages delivered to the wrong PO box that got taken by the person whos box they ended up in. Post office just gives me the "contact whoever you got it from" which sucks if its unreplaceable. The people at the help desk are always helpful when I go in to pay for shipping. I wish they were open longer on Saturdays. I always miss it.”

“Who on earth negatively rates and reviews a post office!? That’s like rating the DMV. They all have long lines and none of them provide tape anymore. All USPS post offices run off government rules and regulations. This is the perfect place to go if you need to send some mail. Prices are same as everywhere else and they get the job done. What else is there to complain about! At least it’s not the DMV”

“Give this man Grant a raise! After 15 minutes of trying to get a hold of someone through the automated system, I got connected to this man and not only did he solve my issue in under 2 minutes, he provided me more info than any teleprompt could. You the man Grant!”

“I didn’t interact with any staff members, just dropped off my prepackaged and labeled box in their package Dropbox. They got my package to the right destination very quickly and with no damage.”

“My regular route driver is Kara and this woman goes above and beyond every day. She is so professional and is very cognizant about the fact that she is delivering not just mail but someones belongings. She is kind, caring and there whenever I have questions or concerns about packages. Even following up on specific packages when there is any interruption or issues.
This last week I had an issue with a package not being scanned in by a different driver (which I understand happens) but I was following up on the issue because this specific package had $350 worth of items in it. I was very anxious not knowing where it was at all and I have unfortunately had mail go missing in the past. I came in and spoke with Edward and he was the most polite and professional postal manager I have had interactions with. I ship quite often and a lot of times when I have questions they get shrugged off or no one really has an answer. Edward followed up with the sub driver to confirm details and continued to check the tracking. He called me this morning to let me know that it arrived in the destination city which was very thoughtful considering most people wouldn't do that.

These two workers deserve recognition for their hard work and thoughtfulness. I cant say enough good things about this last experience with them.”

“I work at Genoa Pharmacy down the street, and I make a daily drop-off before the post office closes. Eddie, I've noticed, has always been so helpful to me, even when I'd come at close. Y'all are awesome.”
