Ordering and shipping went smoothly. The problem I had was with the quality / potency of the product. I was previously with a different compounding pharmacy, and wanted to try Women's International because the cost is lower. Unfortunately it seems the quality is lower too! My symptoms (which were resolved with the product from the previous pharmacy) came roaring back. It's as if the meds from Women's International were completely inactive.

They don’t follow the script accurately and try to gas light you by claiming it’s on the Drs. Script. It is NOT. I’ve been using this cream for 13 years. Will get a written script by hand from my next Drs visit with the correct volume. We’ll see how that goes. You didn’t resolve anything for me. Just tried to convince me my script was as you perceived it, and hustled me out the door. Will take my business to Potters House in Glendale and have it done right.

This is a summary of my experience with WIP (AZ) as a customer over the last several months. My primary prescription with them is a compounded medication that's required many adjustments to get to the right dose. Usually, it took five-ish business days for them to get a new formulation sent out and I typically had enough meds to see me through. However, the last time the dose was changed, it took 10 BUSINESS DAYS for it to be SENT. I had to resort to cobbling together leftover meds. Not happy. My latest order was a refill that I called in on 11/20/23 (Monday before Thanksgiving). The tech was not the friendliest I've spoken with. I let her know how long it took to receive my last order and asked how long this one might take. She was gruff but said she'd see what she could do to get it sent out promptly. I was notified later that day that it was sent and I received it on Wednesday, 11/22. The meds have always been packaged correctly and, for the most part, their techs have been helpful. Almost gave up on WIP but their recent quick refill of my prescription will keep me with them for a bit longer. Moving forward, I plan to ask how long it might take to receive my meds and if I'm not notified in a couple days that it's been sent, I will call to inquire. Recently, I heard that the government is cracking down on compounding pharmacies and that there are and will be fewer of them. WIP's shortcomings may be a result of trying to serve as many people as they can.

I used them for 15 years! Recently, maybe a year ago, the click top (grey) was changed and it is clogged a lot. Each time I did a dose, a different amount seemed to come out. I learned that compounding pharmacies are not sanctioned by the FDA. They follow no rules to protect us. There is nothing on their website about quality control and measurements. We don't know if we get the amount, we should need to protect us. Luckily, I found an alternative, after all these wasted? years. You can get bioidentical estrogen hormones in patch form. And there's a bioidentical progesterone also. And if you do it, like I did, save an s-load of money!

I have used Women's International Pharmacy for over 15 years for my hormone needs. They have been one of the best companies I have ever worked with. They have gone above and beyond to meet my needs, and they are always kind and understanding. I am aware that it is taking them a lot longer these days to get prescriptions filled, and still longer for the mail to deliver them, but I believe that is a result of what's been going on in our country the last couple of years. It has gotten difficult for most businesses to deliver as efficiently as they used to. I was on the phone this morning with Terry, one of your technicians, and she worked creatively to get me my hormones as quickly as possible. She made several helpful suggestions, and was so patient with me. Keep up the good work!

I have been receiving bioidentical hormones from their Phoenix pharmacy for 20 years. Last year it was sold to a new owner, or so I was told by a technician. Since then this pharmacy has been a disaster. They have cut their staff, no doubt to increase profits, so that whenever you call you can expect at least 20 minutes wait. They give you the option of a call back which never happens. I have been waiting 5 weeks now for my refill. I made repeated calls for updates. My nurse practitioner faxed a renewal 3 times with no luck. I finally received a phone message on Thursday apologizing for the delay and telling me my refill would ship that day via FedEx overnight delivery. NO delivery on Friday. So, on Saturday morning I went to FedEx in Santa Fe and asked them to track it. NO OVERNIGHT, just standard. They now predict my refill will be delivered on Monday. Let's hope so. Did they lie, or did they have no idea what they were doing? The GOOD NEWS: my locally owned pharmacy now provides bioidentical hormones. GOOD BYE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S PHARMACY AND GOOD RIDDANCE.

Not getting orders done within a week! I called on Monday January 23 to have two prescriptions refilled. Tech asked if they could be sent separately I said either way is fine but I only have 14 Progesterone capsules left so please send them Fed Ex overnight. After numerous calls to make sure they got doctor approval and ship them to my vacation address, one week later they still have not processed the order. In short they are not getting it done. It's ridiculous. It seems there aren't processes in place and on top of that everyone sounds edgy and stressed. I've been kind but now I'm fed up.

No rhyme or reason to when you will get your refill. One month its 24 hours, the next who knows. Their message even states "wait 24 hours for picking up refills". Soooo I waited, went in and nope wasnt ready. Waited two more days, called and was told by a very curt and rude woman that answered my call "it hasnt been 4-5 days". Cut me off twice when I tried to interject a comment. I have already called my practioner and told them that I want any future refills, new prescriptions to be sent to another compounding pharmacy. I have no time nor patience for rude customer service.

Terrible customer service. Most of the people I spoke with over a two week period (while trying to get a compounded prescription set up) were less than friendly, if not outright unpleasant. Finally got the prescription situated, but then WIP messed up, and I just want a refund for the medication I never received. I cannot afford to fill the prescription elsewhere until I receive a refund. When the issue wasn't being resolved, I asked to speak to a supervisor. I had to call twice before a manager called me back. The manager, Elmer, who called me, raised his voice, spoke over me, interrupted me, and refused to make things right. His tone was aggressive and disrespectful and absolutely uncalled for. I have numerous medications that have to be compounded, but I'll gladly take my business elsewhere.

I have been on bio identical thyroid medication for about 14 years it is the best thing I ever did. The chemical thyroid products fluctuated my thyroid continually. My experience with compounded thyroid medication is it keeps my body steady with no change of dosage dosage for a very long time. The staff is friendly and available to answer questions.

I have been ordering from Women's International Pharmacy for years. I called a order in September 2022 and the lady that answered the phone said I didn't order in May. She had an attitude. I checked my payments for May and I did pay on 5/13/202. So they double billed me for this order and now I have to find out why. What a pain. Joy Lester

First and last time ordering hormones from this completely inept pharmacy. Took over two weeks to have hormone creams filled. They needed to be cool while shipping, wrapped in ice packs they sent them out in July over a holiday weekend. Hormones arrived, hot. Ice packs, hot. Cream separated.Called to get help and reorder replacement, no help at all - they refused to replace. $150 waste of money, time and energy. Will NEVER use this pharmacy again.

Have had to call to talk yet again because they are still, after many many phone sessions, complaints and discussions with the manager, simply unable to maintain a monthly prescription. Current delay: 13 days. When I called they said "you are not on a monthly subscription." Crazy -making.
