These people have been harassing me over a bad job. My mother passed on 1/7 and we couldn't get a correct proof for funeral pamphlets. We never had them printed because of all of the mistakes. We went somewhere else and they are harassing us for money. I don't want to pay for awful work.

On Tuesday, I called this business to get a quote to spiral bind a book. They told me it would be $5 and would be done while I waited. I made it over there on Wednesday. I waited and ended up having to help the guy, Art cut the binding off without taking more off then what needed. When he went back to do the binding, he came back asking if looked ok and I was like, ummm, no the front is upside down and on the back of the book and the back is upside down on the front which I showed him and asked to have that fixed. Surprising he didn't check it before coming to me. Well he had to go and take the whole thing apart again which I guess is why I didn't pay the price that was quoted. With all of this stated, it's not about the extra $3.20 they charged but more about the honesty and integrity they DID NOT show to me. When he told me that it was going to be $8.20, I asked him what happened to the $5 I was quoted yesterday. He then stated it was a bit more difficult than what was thought and I was like, ok, then I guess I should charge you for my help in getting this completed correctly. Art wasn't going to back down from the $8.20 that he was going to charge me instead of the $5 I was quoted. They were nice, don't get me wrong on this but in all reality, it was not what I expected. I know that when I quote something for my business I go with that figure because that is what was quoted. I cannot help it if the guy was out of his element and wasn't able to get it completed in a quicker time frame than he took. I did email the owner and yep, you figured it out, no response! An apology would have gone a long way with this and I did give him a chance. I explained that I am a small business owner myself and try to give my business to local small businesses. I also let them know that I have over 50 pieces of my original artwork that I would like to have scanned and printed on specialty paper. Their loss and I guess I'll go and find another company that has more integrity and are honest about what they do. I know that they are local in Youngtown and they seem to be nice but why go in after being quoted and then when it's time to pay, your invoice will be higher than what was quoted. Seems kind of scammy to me! Only giving them a one star based upon honesty and integrity! They don't have it even though I just read their statement and they go and on about it which they don't have it!
