My husband and I are full time RVer’s and use Horspitality as our home base in the winter. We love the location of the park, just out of town on the south side so it’s easy to head towards Surprise/Phoenix. The park itself is clean and well maintained. The roads in the park got replaced a few months ago. Trees get trimmed back as needed and leaves get cleaned up. The bathrooms, rec room and laundry need a code which adds to the security of the park. There are plenty of washers and dryers and cost about the same as laundromats in town. The sites are very roomy. Many sites have screen rooms or sitting rooms set up. The dog park has real grass and they provide doggie bags and trash cans. There is also a path on the south end of the park and you can also walk down by the horse pens. We don’t keep horses, but the pens are roomy, have shade, and a riding ring. The park itself gets decorated at the holidays which is super nice and festive. The park celebrates Christmas and Thanksgiving with a pot luck dinner. The owner provides the turkey and the guests bring side and desserts! The staff is friendly and will help with any issue. We get deliveries here no problem. Bingo happens in the Rec room weekly as does coffee and donuts. Many people staying bring ATV’s. There’s BLM land out the back gate for riding, ATV’s or horses/mules. Group rides are coordinated by the folks staying here.Different events in town are advertised at the park. They always have different events/acitivities between this park, Flying E, and the town. The Christmas parade is fun and Gold Rush Days is a great mix of rodeo, carnival and craft fair! We’ve stayed here for several years now, in different sites and different rigs. The ladies working the office are always accommodating to the best of their abilities. They pick up your empty propane tanks and deliver them back to your site! They also have the best price on propane around! The people staying here vary from year round residents to snow bird retirees that have been coming down for 20 years. Some sites are permanent homes or RV’s and others are for shorter stays. We like being out of the Valley, but we are close enough for easy day trips. Same with trips to Prescott, easy and beautiful day drive. We highly recommend this park and love staying here! As full time RVers this one of the nicest parks we’ve stayed in.

Worst experience ever! We pulled in after a long day of nothing but mechanical issues. Yes, not the parks problem at all. We were relieved to see how nice the park looked, well maintained and two pull through sites that looked open right at the entrance. Unfortunately with the day we had I wasn’t able to make a reservation before the office closed. When I checked the office door I saw a “night check in” cupboard so opened it hoping there would be a chance for me to wrote down our information and then go pay first thing when the office reopened at 8am. We pulled into one of the two sites, with no intention to use services. Just sleep for the night. Within 5 minutes there was a bang on the door. I thought to myself “great, someone we can check with on the site”. Well, let’s just say there was going to be no conversation with this person. I greeted him with “oh hi, is it ok of we stay here tonight?” To which he curtly responded, “no one is allowed in here after 5 pm (it was 5:45), and besides that you’re facing the wrong way, I already called my boss and he wants you gone, next time make a reservation”. What the? There will absolutely be no “next time”. There was no need to treat me like that. Fine, don’t let us stay but why be such a miserable person about it.

The first time we called a week ago, the lady that answered was very nice and cooperative. My wife called again today to book and she was rude. A second call to inquire about just a couple night stay (instead of 5 nights), and she was incredibly rude.It makes no difference what your services are or your price or convenience, when you’re rude, you won’t get my business period. Maybe someday we can stay here if the lady that answers the phone is gone.

This is my response to a very very nasty and very childish owner who's name is Jan. Do not pay by check as they talked me in to and we can't get our money back. We gave more than 30 days and it just doesn't matter. Jan is very desperate for money. It's sad but be careful of this RV Park. Jan is Jekyll and Hyde.First; To begin with, we as consumers shouldn't have to give a "DOCTOR'S NOTE"?? WOW!!! What are we, in grade school?? Good Lord!! And I gave them more than 30 days notice, Jan wouldn't let me talk when I called, and you hung up on me, and wouldn't call me back, and wouldn't answer my calls. More than 30 days is normal. It just shows how desperate and childish this whole situation is. Grow up and if someone doesn't use their RV spot then give them their money back. Very easy.Second: We parked in lot 53 and we couldn't open our awning as there's trees in the way. We told u and you didn't do anything. We were only gonna be there for a very short time so we just let it go. We were parked between two very old old junky campers and was glad to be away out of that spot.Third: We rolled our deposit in to the fall season and you asked us what lot we wanted and we said, lot 91. Its wasn't any bigger but didn't have trees in the way.Forth: If someone can't return for any reason you should return their money. A 30 day notice is a reasonable time and you had plenty of time to re-rent that spot. DO NOT PAY BY CHECK!! There is no recourse and you lose your money!!! Good luck!!Not sure what’s up with Wickenburg AZ but this is the second RV park that we’ve had a really difficult time with. They won’t refund a $580.00 deposit. Why? Not sure? We canceled more than 30 days in advance. Jan the owner was really nasty and hung up on me and wouldn’t call back or answer. We stayed for a month with few problems. We weren’t able to put our awning out as the spots are close and tight. We decided we’d like to go back in November 23. We rolled our deposit ($580) till then. And we were told the trailer would be $100 a month by one person and $50 a month by Jan. When we left we owed an electric bill but no one was around to tell us how much. One of the girls in the office told us they would take it out of our deposit and we could deal with it in the fall. Mind you, we didn’t sign anything. We called to cancel for November 2023 and called three times and asked to be called back. They didn’t call us back. Finally on our forth call on September 27th 2023 the owner Jan answered and I explained we were not going to able to be there in the fall as one of us was sick and asked for our deposit back. And she didn’t care if we were sick or not. Jan got really nasty and said no refunds on deposits. I tried to talk and she kept talking over me and said I signed it and no refunds. I didn’t sign anything!! She hung up on me and absolutely no response from them. My recommendations are, don’t pay with a check. That’s how they get you. Jan the owner should not deal with people at all WOW! What a Jekyll and Hyde. So for Horspitality is only for horses and not people. And they don’t allow any kids at all.

The rooms offered are restrooms, laundry but they were up a long flight of stairs. They did have little lights on the railing going.Noteworthy details: This was an RV park, not a hotel. They have horse boarding for those traveling with their horses.

Clean, well-tended trailer/RV park with several horse stalls located at the lower level. Excellent service, low prices. Very nice, honest people who take far too much abuse from some of their customers -- with a smile. (When we first moved here, they used to have baked goods for sale here... but their customers thought they were entitled to take them for free because they have to pay for staying there: the verbal abuse the owners got was unforgivable... probably from people who act on impulse to say whatever they please on social media).Propane service is excellent: we stop here for refilling all our propane tanks, be it the small ones for our home barbecue or those on our travel trailer.Good Sam discounts for space rental.Nice club house.

This is a wonderful RV Park. Very pet friendly with an enclosed dog park that has grass and shade. Plenty of walking areas down behind the horses. The owners created a recreation room with books, movies games and puzzles. The laundry area was very clean and secure. The landscaping is nice and they've identified some plants which is helpful for those of us from the east coast. The office is very friendly and helpful. If we ever come back this way we would love to stay here. We have a 36ft class A with a toad. Full hookup no issues. Level spot on gravel.

I have had to change my arrival twice. Once by an extended period. Jan was understanding and awesome. Staff, Courtney and Jacob, are terrific. The park is well maintained, quiet and beautiful. If available, I’ll definitely return next year.

Pros - everyone very nice here. Even the full-time residents. Good place for the dogs too! Wi-Fi worked fine. Close to town and services.Cons - pretty tight quarters. Mostly if not all back in. But, they'll spot for you while backing in. Nice! And, getting out on US-60 can be interesting.

Just spent five wonderful nights. Very quiet. Good facilities for dogs. We have 4 and they had no problem with that. Lots of horses but surprisingly no smell and very few flies. The Hassayampa Preserve borders the property so lots of space for the dogs to run to their hearts content. Common areas were clean and pleasant. Adults only and lots of rules but so worth it

BEWARE!!!There are NO refunds for any reason. Our tow car blew a transmission in Tucson and we had to tow it home. We lost $150 here at horsepitality. Other parks were caring and gave us refunds.

Not your standard RV park. Thoroughly enjoyed walking around in this park because of the horses. Lots of space for your RV rig and personnel vehicle. Not a place for children. Extremely quiet place.

These folks made my move to Arizona a smooth and easy one. I reached out late in the game (around August) to find an extended site solution. As many know Wickenburg is a destination in the winter and finding RV spots for the Nov-March time frame is near impossible. But Horsepitality went above and beyond to work me into their facility. Offering me a temporary spot for a few months until they arranged a permanent spot.Great service, kindness, and hospitality are a few words I use to describe this crew. They really show pride in the grounds and do a great job maintaining the entire place. The environment is safe, relaxed and quiet. All of the camp mates I have met thus far have been extremely kind. The crew does a great job of keeping an eye out for unwarranted visitors as well. To ensure our sites are safe and sound. Many thanks for making my current stay and future time here a pleasure.

If you have a knack for dealing with extremely erractic, half crazed people (owners wife) this is your kind of place. I have never been lied to so many times while trying to conduct business. Arranged for a specific spot, shaded, rendered a deposit, went to check in and was told the space was no longer available I would need to use another space in the sun. It just kept going from there. I went to pay a months rent and was told I owed for propane. Long story short, one of the employees furnished propane to another site and wrote down me space #. I was scolded by the witch and was told from now on I would have to come into the office to request propane. When they found out it was their mistake and not mine, no apoligy, she wouldn't even look me in the face. These people are not trustworthy!!!! I would not stand to close to HER, you just may get struck by a Kansas farm house!!

The fact I mentioned that I have purchased purchased propane from you all winter was only to give context to the poor review. I had positive experiences with your business up to the phone call. I certainly was not asking for or expecting a “free” rv septic dump. I asked if you offered the service, which I was expecting to pay for. You very rudely told me no you did not have any septic dumps. I asked you if you offer that for your overnight guests and you told me it was none of my business, and you never offered any other options in town. At that point I was still willing to pay for a nights stay in order to dump so when I asked you about that option you told me you were booked for the rest of the season. Which I’m sure is not true! And I absolutely did not use the F-word or any other foul language. I simply said you did not have to be rude. And you hung up on me. This negative review is on you. I will gladly pay more for propane somewhere else in town and I’m going to take the time to share my negative experience of your business with anyone who cares to listen.
