I have 3 kids at this school, my oldest being in 7th grade. We love it here. We've had wonderful experiences with teachers and staff. There are always different events and clubs to engage not only the students, but also the community. It is a certified STEAM school, and students have access to a lot of technology and resources. As for the parking, when the school was built it was in the middle of nowhere. There are at least 3 other communities that now feed into it, so of course the traffic is higher. If you get in the pickup line at 3:45, the line moves right away and doesn't take long.

Most Dysart schools aren't very good to begin with but my biggest gripe with this school is the parking. I'm guessing some of the parking decisions were district initiatives which wouldn't surprise me because they're a whole other cluster. The drop off/pickup process is a train wreck. There's nowhere near enough spots for parents to park and walk up to meet their kids unless you arrive an hour early. However, now there's reserved parking for police when they just prefer to park in the fire lane, AND there's reserved spots for admin now although there's a staff parking lot that no one can use unless you're staff. There's been a staff of the month spot for years now that no staff ever uses. So here's your options... 1) show up for your kid at least an hour before dismissal if you want to park and walk up (no guarantees spots will be available). 2) Sit in the train wreck line of cars that extends out to Peoria. 3) Park a quarter mile down the street and walk up or wait for your kid. Oh! Let's not forget to squeeze the entire student body through the doors by the iExplore Lab in the morning instead of using the two monstrous swinging gates in the front of the school like they used to do.

A lot of bullying at this school and nothing is done about it. Education is lacking as well as electives offered.

I would not recommend for anyone to have their child go to this school. The drugs are rampant, there are fights every other day, and the bullying is a growing problem at this school. So I would highly recommend parents to not bring their kids to this school.

I think it's great that the Dysart Unified School District has their schools open for in person classes. They also offer online classes to all K-12 students. Thank you for staying open.

Peoria is a dirt road from Cotton to Citrus and it is not maintained. Very rough road full of rocks and holes.
