I wish you could select negative stars....sadly I had to select at least one star. There's a very valid reason that the majority of the reviews are only 'one star' (and likely less than that if it was an option).Chase makes it incredibly difficult to do anything with them - open an account, close an account and everything in between. After setting an appointment with Chase to open an account and consulting with our attorney on the process, we walked in with the proper documents and expected to mark this talks off our list. We were asked to wait 10 mintues past our actual appointment time (with 4 bankers and 1 other guest). We were greeted in the lobby and as we stood there we were asked for specific documentation to which we provided. We were then informed that we could not open an account today, that their attorneys needed to first validate the document and that they would call us if they had any questions or needed additional information. They said it would be 2 - 4 days before they would call us to schedule an appointment. We provided her with the name and phone number of our attorney and let her know that they should contact our attorney directly with any further questions or needed documentation. We also politely told them that when someone calls for this type of appointment, Chase should let them know the process, as to not waste our time. Before going to the appointment, we sought council from our attorney to find out what we needed to provide Chase. He specifically told us that we only needed to provide that one document (provided by our attorney) and that's exactly what we submitted. After nine days had passed with no phone call, we called Chase to find out the status. We were told that 'we were going to call you this afternoon (it was 4pm at the time of the call) to schedule the appointment. She then went on to say that while the legal document had been approved, they also needed an additional document. This happened to be the one document our attorney told us that if the Bank asks for it, under no certain terms are you to provide it (or we could jeopardize the safety of the assets) and Chase could be held liable for damages under AZ Law. Hmmm.We offered to bridge our attorney into the call so he could validate Arizona Law with what they were telling us we needed to provide. We were then told that Chase will NOT speak to our attorney but that we could set up a different appointment for a call but that they would not be able to speak to our attorney, but that he could listen to the conversation(?, right?)!The employee of Chase (not an attorney) then went on to say (with authority!) that our attorney is NOT an employee of Chase and doesn't know Chase's policies. I politely explained to her that our attorney DOES know AZ Law, and specifically told us that if Chase didn't honor the legal document we provided, that they could be sued and held liable for damages. To no avail, she seemed to think their policy (which has not been provided to us) trumps AZ Law. (scratching our heads)We went ahead and set an appointment not because we are a glutton for punishment, but to make a point - because we're in it now! Also because Chase is strong-arming us, even though we are following the law. So many times we've turned the other cheek to avoid conflict, but we're genuinely curious to see how this one plays out.Sadly, this is just one example of a very long line of Chase road blocks when trying to manage, access or move OUR own money! Incidentally, after calling our attorney after the exchange with Chase, to discuss the situation, he did tell us that if you asked 30 different attorney's in Tucson, they would ALL tell you that CHASE is the absolute WORST Bank to deal with for ANY reason. Agreed! We'll see this one through for fun and then it's 'So long Chase!' Wondering how many hoops we'll have to jump through just to close our account. Pathetic.

We had waited for a customer service person for over a half hour. Manager of Chase Bank would not let my 91 yr old father use the bathroom for an emergency. They told him. It was 100 degrees and very hard on an elderly man, who was a good customer for years! Very cruel and heartless! Forced to use computer, inspite of no skills! Shame on them, the elderly shouldnot be treated in this way!

This branch has some great staff. Alexandra helped me with opening a new account, and provided good personalized care. There are issues. They're low staffed, and only have one personal banker for HELOCs, auto loans, etc. I'm frustrated with the time frame, but I understand it's rough on employees when they don't get support from the top. The struggle is real. I hope these guys get some help soon.

The website says that this branch is open on Saturday. It is not open on Saturday. I went in and asked about posting that it's not open and it seemed too complicated for them to do that. NOT OPEN SATURDAY.

Don't answer phone, dismissive attitude, condescending. On my most recent visit I got to stand in line with several other customers. We had the opportunity to listen to the tellers discuss the physical appearance and weight of the UPS drivers, rather then helping anyone.

I unfortunately opened a new Chase account three weeks ago, and I have never in my life had so many problems with one bank. When setting up my account, the banker misspelled my mother's name (I added her as an account holder) and got her birthdate wrong. Later I realized he'd also gotten my email address wrong, which when I called him to ask for it to be corrected, I was told to correct it myself via the app. I never received my debit card that was supposed to arrive "within 5-7 business days". After two weeks, I called to check the status and was told I would have to PHYSICALLY COME INTO THE BANK AGAIN, which is an hour's drive away, because they "could not re-order my missing card over the phone". When I drove all the way back to the bank to conduct my banking business in person like it is still the 1900s, I was also informed by the bank manager, who was not all that apologetic about any of this, that an important wire transfer I had sent from my account - not from my faulty/missing debit card, just from my new account - had been rejected without any notice to me. By the way, at this point, I've had to pay overdraft fees and late bill fees because I did not have my debit card when I was told I would by Chase. Finally got my damn debit card in the mail. The debit card DOESN'T WORK. It won't swipe, and it won't even work over the phone or online. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've had, not because the people were rude, but because of the horribly consistent incompetence. All with an institution that I am supposed to trust with all of my money for the next few decades? I don't think so. I'm closing my account AS SOON AS I find a better bank. The only redeeming part of my entire experience was Jenny, a very kind teller, who chatted with me while I was waiting.

Why did they waste this piece of land with a bank? We went in today to have my name added to an account. We were told by the girl there that there are no tellers at this bank. You can call, or go online to find the closest Chase location that can assist you. She didn't even take the time to display an ounce of CUSTOMER SERVICE and give us those numbers or just tell us what chase location could help us.

9-5-19 I had a moderately complicated business transaction that I was somewhat worried about, due to the very negative reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to find the staff polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. The architecture is unusual, but functional and attractive, the east view is not much short of superb.
