Terrible customer service; despite multiple attempts via phone and email, Walls Fargo (145 E 22nd St Tucson, AZ 85713 United States) fails to respond, leaving me frustrated and unsupported.

Stay away from any Wells Fargo bank. They steal people's money like Ethan Parker. Google Ethan Parker Wells Fargo

I went into Wells Fargo to open an account because historically Wells Fargo has been very eager to open accounts. You may remember that several years ago they were actually busted for opening accounts illegally in their customers names without their consent. Well, apparently Wells Fargo has done a complete 180. Apart from their former self of the slip-shot, fast food, Persian bazaar manner that they ran their business, now they have opted for a level of austerity.that frankly turns away customers. I was told that they couldn’t help me open an account because I had to make an appointment online. Walk in service is no longer done. But when I went to their website to make an appointment, the soonest appointment that I could see was for Friday, which would’ve been three days from then.I called a couple of other banks, I now bank at Pima credit union. They were able to see me right away and get me all set up.I gave them two stars because at least the guy that I talked to at Wells Fargo was honest about their system and didn’t act like it was a good idea.

These people are crooks. Acting like they are kind for giving you extra time to avoid an overdraft fee. Well guess what, I can join plenty of other banks for free that don't charge an overdraft fee. Guess what genius move those better banks came up with: they simply don't overdraft your account in the first place so there is no need for a fee. Wells Fargo thinks we are idiots, it costs nothing for the bank to reverse an insufficient charge to an account, the fee is put there for pure selfish profit

My son has been saving changes and we came here to get it changed into bills. We were told that we had to roll up the changes ourselves and were cut off before I could ask more questions. The bank teller just walked off. It was very time consuming to put the quarters into the roll paper and have it keep falling out. I came here for them to put the changes into their machine as I have seen other locations do. They refused to and was terrible with their service. If they do not have a coin machine, I'd understand but at least help my son and I roll up the changes as he is only 4 and I am 6 months pregnant and the bank was empty. We were the only customers inside(for 20 minutes)and there was 3 other bank tellers available. They were just chatting away with each other. What happen to making things easier for your customers?

just a miserable branch. Too busy. Can't get an notary without an appt. If it would not take me hours to change banks (personal and business), I would. For now, stuck with this branch. A customer since 1976. Bottom-line more staff needed.

UPDATE: I went in again with the social security card, waited for another hour. The manager finally approached me and told me to schedule for another day because they had to "honor other customers" (so I am not a customer?). I was extremely upset because I went in TWICE on the same day. I told her I brought my social security card as told, I asked if she could just make a copy of my card so I could get this done with. She insisted she could not because they hadn't even started the process of my legal name change (what?! I was told the social security card was the final step previously). I asked if there is a way I could just do it online and she said no, I had to come in person and God knows how many times and how many hours I have to waste again. So I just left and told her to go ahead and shred all the documents they copied earlier. I have decided to switch to another bank. The wait time to see a banker is always ridiculously long, even before pandemic (I waited for TWO hours before pandemic at another branch), not to mention the inconsistency in presenting their information, as well as their ability to complicate procedures. Totally lost my faith in Wells Fargo.ORIGINAL POST BELOW:I wanted to change my last name since I went through my divorce. I called the customer service hotline few weeks ago and confirmed that this location was open and I was told no appointment needed for my name change. I went there in person and waited in line for a long time only to be told that I needed to download the app and schedule an appointment. Wasted a day. Then I came in today as scheduled online. I got a confirmation call earlier and I was told to bring documents that show my name change. So I presented the court order as well as my new driver license. The banker was on the phone with Legal Department for a while, they denied my paper and said I needed to bring in my social security card which no one told me about.I am frustrated because I changed my last name with MVD, Social Security Office as we as another bank with the SAME divorce paper with NO problems. The processes were quick and easy. Wells Fargo made it far more complicated and inconvenient than it should. They needed my social security card that I used for name change with the same legal divorce paper that they don't accept. I just really don't understand the logic here.I am giving 1 star to Wells Fargo as a whole, not this branch.

Great location and employees! I have only had good experiences coming to this branch! Everyone is very polite and professional. I rather drive a bit farther to this location then go to the one on ajo were they are so rude and difficult.

Worst place ever to go to do anything bank related. Left my account open and deposited someone else’s check in my account. And is now refusing to take accountability for there mistake and is holding my bank account hostage. Just like thousands of other people this bank has screwed over.
