I do frequent contract work in Iraq. During those deployments, manual deposits must be made to my Wells Fargo checking account, and my neighbor is happy to help. Wells Fargo has specifically said that checks deposited must have an account number or social security number written on the back, and that a signature is not required for deposits only. On four previous deployments, everything worked fine. Today Wells Fargo refused the deposit and said an endorsement signature was required. My neighbor spoke with the branch manager and only encountered a stone wall. She even implored them to call me to clear up any misunderstanding, which they refused to do. When I'm in the Middle-East while everything is turning to chaos, I didn't need Wells Fargo changing the rules in mid-stream or showing definite signs of cranial rectal inversion. The branch at Continental Ranch on Silverbell in Marana has some serious management issues. I'll be changing banks upon my return.

Drove over an hour to get a title notarized but was told I'd have to make an appointment? Never before have I been told this for a notorized signature. Only one person working outside the teller window and there were no customers. They take $10 a month and can't even provide a simple service that takes 5 minutes. Time for a new bank since they can't even keep a bank staffed.

They make it hard to open a business account on a Saturday with only 1 business person on duty to help people. It like they want you to go to their competitor by not having the staff to do something a simple as opening an account.

Went for notary service, was in and out very quickly. Staff was efficient and courteous.
