Have lived in my apt for 3 years.The staff is very nice and helpful. No problem with my apt. If I need anything at all maintenance is there the same day. Living here is a wonderful experience. The manager is great, very nice and helpful.

Summary: Great maintenance service, but awful security and management.
Although it might be considered a good location, the security around the complex is awful. My bike got stolen the day after I secured it in one of the apartment bike racks which are inside of the complex.
It's been a YEAR since I moved out and they still haven't returned my security deposit, as well as my reimbursement for having paid a whole month when I only stayed 3 weeks because of the end of my contract. I have contacted the office many times about this matter but every time I got a bad excuse as of why it hadn't gotten to me.
And it's even more disappointing that every time they don't take responsibility and blame it on the mailing service or corporate office.
To make matters worse, they stopped taking my calls two months ago, as well as my emails.
The only good service I received during my stay was maintenance, they would always fix things in a timely manner and with quality service.
It's a shame that I don't know if I'll ever see my deposit back and those couple hundred dollars that I was assured would be sent back.
If you are planning to move here, I suggest you take into account this experience and reflect if it's worth the trouble. I've seen more apartments around this area look more promising.

I had a sudden issue of water leaking from AC use. The day after I put in the request, Mr. Eden Garcia coming over right away to resolve the issue. He is always very professional and friendly, and I always recommend the work he does!

***ANYONE HAVING ISSUES CAN FILE A SMALL CLAIMS PACKET ONLINE WITH THE PIMA COUNTY JUSTICE COURT FOR $55***
They charged me twice after I terminated my lease then dodged my calls despite showing them the proof. I grew tired of the drug addicts camping out in front of my door so I broke lease and paid the fee using a money order. Management sent the bill to collections anyway so I paid them again after they threatened to ruin my credit.
I called the manager to get my money back. She looked me up in the system and saw that I had indeed paid them already. She apologized, hung up, and avoided any further contact after I stupidly told her that I had misplaced the receipt for the money order.
Well I found the receipt, and I have all of the documentation to prove that what I'm saying is true. I will be filing a small claims packet with the local justice court to get my money back, plus extra compensation for all the stress they put me through.
Do not rent from these people. The management is dishonest and does not care about you. If you have any issues, you can file a small claims packet with the pima county justice court for $55. Even if you lose, they'll likely have to expend a lot of resources to represent themselves in court.
Fighting corporations is not hard if you know how.

When I decided to move into this complex, I knew it wasn't the best choice, but the low rent was too tempting to pass up. Now, after six months, I must say that I didn't expect it to be this awful.
I live on the third floor, where the noise from the AC units on the roof is driving me crazy. I'm shocked that no one mentioned this in the reviews. The property is infested with roaches and is far from clean. Although there are some good residents here, most of the people seem to have mental health issues. They are constantly making noise, fighting, or playing loud music day and night, making it impossible to relax at home.
Last week, I came home to find six police cars on the property. I have no idea what happened, but it didn't leave a good impression. If you respect yourself, do not move in here. I can't wait to leave!

The staff here is totally okay with their residents having to pepper spray someone on their property because they were physically threatened. Also you’re never gonna know if the security ,they say the have, will be here. So definitely DO NOT move here if you want to feel safe in any way at all.

Verde has a lot of the same problems every lower quality corporate apartment has: old appliances, rising prices and hidden fees, weekly plumbing “emergencies,” inattentive management, bare minimum maintenance. I’m used to all of that, it’s part of renting, and I wouldn’t urge someone not to move on based on just that.
What’s really unacceptable is the cockroach infestation at Verde. It’s extremely prolific. Every inch of this entire complex is quite literally crawling with cockroaches. You walk around outside at night and the ground is covered in them. They’re in every room of my apartment. I spend large amounts of my days trying to kill the ones I see, then cleaning and re-cleaning and hoping to keep my items sanitary and safe from them.
They’re in the drains, under appliances, between every little crack everywhere. They’re in the walls laying eggs and hatching. We buy traps and bait and poison from the store, and it somehow only gets worse. We pay a monthly “pest control” fee that’s the equivalent of burning money, because if you can manage to talk them into sending someone out, they spray a little under a sink and say that’s all they do.
I keep my apartment clean and tidy. I even spend extra time taking specific measures against the cockroaches. It doesn’t matter. They’re already everywhere. There’s nothing I can do.
They’re in the pantry, on my clean dishes, in my cat’s food, the shower, the bedroom. Everywhere. Big ones all over. Then tons of tiny newly hatched ones because there’s multiple generations breeding in the walls. There’s no escaping it.
I’ve never been so depressed with my living situation. It is truly hopeless. I feel like a fool having signed another twelve month lease but I had no other choice. Moving is expensive and we didn’t have something lined up in time. I do refuse to sign again, because I cannot live this way anymore.
There’s a $300 referral bonus, which would be a nice break on rent. But I would only recommend someone lives here if I actually hated them.
Please, do not move into Verde. You will be infested and it will break you.

I would like to give a shout out to the new staff at Verde apts, My AC went out and they responded immediately and repaired it, the staff is very friendly and willing to help something I'm not use to at Verde.

I was there visiting a family member and the property looks dirty and old,the interior is full of roaches. I would not pay any amount to live with roaches. Big roach infestation and it's clean inside . Why won't the office cooperate with the tenants? They do not deserve to be treated like that. They pay too much money to be living with roaches and bad attitudes from the office staff
