I don't know why I haven't reviewed this place before. When I decided to go from long hair to short, I asked my neighbor where she had her hair done. She recommended Velvet, as she had followed Cynthia (who works there) from another salon, and felt she was the best. So I made an appointment with Cynthia. From the minute I walked in, I was impressed with Cynthia. She asked me what I wanted to do with my hair and I told her I was going to trust her to get it right. She spent a long time cutting my hair, working with it until she felt it was right for my hair texture. It was perfect! I go back every 4 weeks, working my vacations around my haircuts. My hair grows very quickly some months, slowly other months. Cynthia always give me the cut that works for me. She has a great sense of humor, is very empathetic and professional. I would recommend Cynthia to anyone. You'll be greeted, and sent on your way, with a smile and a hug.

Me & my daughter get our hair & nails done here for many years now. Cynthia our hairstyle is amazing and she's the best. Leslie is our nail tech and she is amazing too! I would highly recommend both of these wonderful ladies. The staff in this salon is awesome.... We love it!

Alyssa is amazing. Got my lashes done for the first time and she did not disappoint. I’m in love with them. They make a huge difference. Also get my hair done by her and it’s always better than expected. She’s amazing at what she does! Highly highly recommend going to Alyssa for lashes or hair

Rating this place one star because of three bad experiences. 1st time: A hairdresser cut my Mom's hair shorter than what she wanted and gave her uneven layers. 2nd time: The owner of this salon talked on the phone almost the entire time during my niece's haircut. When she wasn't talking on the phone she was leaving my niece in the chair for long periods of time. Absolutely unprofessional. 3rd and last time going to this salon: They scheduled an appointment with my Mom for 5pm (they close at 6). Two workers are there, saw my Mom walk in and didn't say one word to her. She waited there for 20 minutes until she walked out. The stylists and owner are unprofessional, rude and they don't actively listen to their customers.

Well go ahead and say it my wife went there and they didn't do the streaks correctly I don't want to go back to get it fixed there because I don't want them to mess it up anymore I didn't even call and complain or anything I just would rather go somewhere else

Today i took my daughter to get her hair done at velvet hair studio and they did amazing job on my daughter hair and she loves it, im defiantly going to take my daughter to velvet hair studio for now on😃

Hannah is the best!!!!!!! I have really thick hair n she never ever complained she did an amazing job on my hair cut!!
