This location treated me like a number and not a real person. The teller Liverina was rude and deserving. When I asked to speak to the branch manager he turned red trying to defmed her. At no point did I ever get any compassion but instead felt ridiculed and dismissed. I will be pleased to never return to this location.

Everytime I come here, the experience never improves, they're always very difficult and run in circles with explanations rather than providing customer service and competence. Your time doesn't matter to them nor your orders of business. The only reason me and my family use vantage is for the people at the first and Wetmore location. But after this experience I'm heavily debating on moving me and my families business elsewhere.I've come here only a handful of times, only when necessary, but never having a decent experience at this location is quite consistent. This last time I went in to simply make a transfer from one vantage west account. One that I own, onto one that I am the power of attorney of (grandparents account)I needed to link my account to provide them with funds. When I came in an explained the situation, rather than attempting to verify, they immediately began cooking up reasons to not help me, and I could tell due to the lack of eye contact, the dude simply clicking away at his computer a little mindlessly.Let's keep in mind, it's not like I needed anything major like an account or routing number or something Protected by PII (which I would still have access to considering I am Power of attorney) but I simply needed a "member number" because in the vantage west app, that's the info it requests to move funds from one vantage west account to another. So instead of doing his job and verifying he took the easier path and just refused to assist and kept telling me she has to do it.So then I continued to explain that I need solutions rather than "we can't help you unless she does it"So then I explained I tried doing it from her app but was unable to get her member number and now that I'm in the area I decided to stop by, my physical presence is enoughSo he tried to give me the general number and I said I wanted this specific locations number, so he provided that (specially because vantage west general line has a long prompt, too much for my 60yo grandmother.) So she called them directly just to give up the same information I was already entitled too. They even have it on file I'm a power of attorney, the dude was just too lazy to give me something as basic as a member number. He didn't even need to request any info pther than her first and last name. How difficult is that. I would've even given her social and got her on the phone (but of course I can't outbound call her, she must inbound call them and at the end of it all she will give the same exact info with the same exact phone number, requesting the same exact thing. Thanks for wasting my time. If anything like this happened at my home location, we would leave immediately.****Here's a piggyback to your response @VantageWest****So you value your members security? Yet your checking accounts or savings accounts don't offer any identity protection, or really ANY protection. In the past with fraudulent transactions, I was NEVER helped, I had to figure it out myself. So there's no fraud protection, if something happens to your money, it becomes a "handle it yourself" or "handle it with the merchant." Even if it's fraudulent. So yes, thank you so much for your "member security"

I've been a Vantage West customer for more than a decade, and never had a problem, but I am infuriated at the recent notice that they're automatically opting everyone into new provisions that waive their customers' rights to be part of any current or future class action lawsuits, claiming that any continued use of one's account after July will act as consent for these new provisions. This is truly underhanded, despicable, anti-consumer behavior. For the first time, I'm seriously considering taking my business elsewhere.

They allowed someone to open a fraudulent loan in my name. Then called me and admitted to it. Then called me to collect the money. Then sued me.

Alan Lee, Utility Specialist… Alan helped me save a little money when he asked if I would like to change my account to Premium Rewards Checking and save the $5 fee on my cashiers check, as I will be using cashiers checks to pay my rent from this day forward. My apartment complex recently changed ownership and I found the online app too difficult to make payments online, so I’ve decided to pay by money order or cashiers check. No one had ever asked if I was interested in Premium Rewards Checking, until today; when Alan took it upon himself to ask. I’m retired, on Social Security, so someone reaching out to me in this manner made me feel good. I just wanted to “Thank” Alan for going beyond just giving service, but helping and making a senior veteran happy. Hey Vantage West… Alan’s a keeper…

This was a really easy bank/CU to deal with and I would stay with them if I hadn't moved out of state.Special shoutout to Sam R. for being so courteous, professional, and taking the time to explain things to us while we were trying to secure funding to purchase a home in late 2022. I'd give him 6/5 stars directly if Google would let me!

I've been turned away twice now when trying to open an account and give them my money. The first time I walked in with a little over 30 minutes remaining and only a couple people in the lobby. I was told to come back again with 45 minutes until closing time to open a simple essentials checking account and I would be served. I returned with 50 minutes until closing just now, and I was turned away yet again because they were "fully booked with appointments." That wasn't disclosed to me the first time. There appeared to be no customers sitting and waiting for all of these appointments, and there were only a couple people in line at the tellers. I can't make a set appointment due to my unpredictable schedule. Hughes Federal Credit Union is who I bank with already and they have accommodated my request to speak to an advisor 10 minutes before closing. They have never turned me away because they were "fully booked" with appointments. A simple teller has opened accounts for me there in the past right on the spot. Hughes says they'll notarize 2 documents for walk-ins, yet a few months ago I was taken back and I was able to have all 6 documents notarized on the spot when I was expecting to have to do it over 3 visits due to the limit. If you're looking for a local credit union to bank with, I'll say that I'm personally always taken care of very well at Hughes FCU on Pantano whereas Vantage West CU appears to not want anyone else's business/money at the moment. Oh well. That's my experience so far. They won't be getting the chance for a 3rd strike.

I usually prefer going to this location because of the excellent customer service that’s usually provided. Today I noticed a couple of new tellers and the girl that helped me was not friendly or pleasant to deal with. And there was a longer wait than usual

Angelina is the best! I was struggling to learn how to use the app and she took the time to show me everything and set up my account. She is so sweet and patient! I was grateful that she spent a few minutes with me and did not rush me at all :)

Every time my wife or I go to this branch we are treated poorly for one reason or another. I've used this credit union for over twenty years and this location is garbage. Broadway is the place to go where you feel welcome and treated with respect. Definitely done with the Wilmont location and the poor quality of customer service or shall I say lack of....No need for an apology as well we know it's just your way of acting like your branch truly cares.
