Very dishonest, withholding information about car recalls to later find out the recall notice wasnt sent out to customer in time costing them more than 1/3 the price of a new car. Failing to make it right for a returning customer and members of a family who are subuaru lovers. Just lost yourself 3 returning customers.

DO NOT RECOMMEND, LONG POST BUT PLEASE READ TO SAVE MONEY
11/3/25 Initial Post: Long story short, this place will not give you the best out the door (OTD) price and will not match or beat competitor offers. They told me to drive up to Phoenix if I wanted a lower price, so I walked out. The best out the door price that I was offered (so far) is over $6,000 below MSRP and its was over $4,000 lower from what Tucson Subaru was offering. Will update with photos of all the OTD prices I got from competitors for a Crosstrek Wilderness soon!
Google the following to get really good information on how to find, negotiate, and finance a car and avoid getting taken advantage of by the dealers. It’s from Caredge website which has a lot of great resources, they are also on YouTube. Oddly, they use Subaru as an example in their video series. I will be updating soon with more helpful resources
“How Dealerships Make Money: A Former Car Dealer Breaks It Down”
“Car Buying Cheat Sheet: Former Dealer Shares How to Negotiate Car Prices Confidently”
“Finance Your Next Car Like a Pro With This Cheat Sheet”
Some of my personal tips. But please use the resources I mentioned above to become an informed consumer! I will add more soon:
Find a car you can actually afford and want to buy. Test drive car models if needed but walk out afterwards.
Don't purchase until you become an informed consumer!
Research prices (focus on the total out the door price which includes taxes and fees)
Use Costco auto program to get an initial discounted price. Most partner dealerships are in Phoenix, make sure to adjust the zip code you input to a phoenix zip code if nothing pops up when requesting a quote.
Do not say if you are going to give a down payment, trade in, what your monthly budget is, or how you're purchasing the car (cash vs finance vs leasing). This makes you lose negotiating leverage.
Use this OTD price to email competitors to beat the price.
Contact dealerships in Phoenix, even Flagstaff and San Diego if they have the model you want. This makes the competition pool even bigger.
Communicate through email to have everything in writing, they should be able to email you OTD prices.
If you have a Gmail account, you can use google voice to set up an alternative phone number to communicate through.
Do not pay for any add ons they're all way marked up price and can be discounted from the car selling price.
WALK OUT IF YOU ARE NOT GETTING THE BEST PRICE.
This takes time, it can be annoying but it can save you thousands! In this economy when cars are way over priced above their actual value please make informed purchasing decisions!
Best of luck :)

Very accommodating getting appointments quickly. Friendly efficient workers, and they keep you posted on the time service will be completed. They usually have loaner cars available if you'd like to do other errands. There's a comfortable waiting area with complimentary snacks, fruit and beverages.

Our experience went smoothly thanks to our excellent salesperson, Monica. Highly recommend! Leaving with a beautiful new Outback.
Update to previous 5 star review: Brought the vehicle in to have a hitch put on (surprisingly, the Wilderness does not come with one). Sadly, after dropping my vehicle off yesterday at 8:30am and not being called to pick it up until 5pm, I arrived to find the bumper ruined on my brand new vehicle. Somehow, it had made it through quality control and the service department seemed happy to try and send me home with a ruined bumper (we refused). I will now be without my vehicle for 4 more days watiting for a replacement. This is my first Subaru after driving a Jeep Wrangler for 10 years and my previous excitement has turned to regret.
Update: Got rid of the Subaru and got another Jeep.

I'm visiting the area but needed an oil changed. I called and asked if I needed an appointment or if I could just drive up. The very nice woman on the phone said I could just drive up but as long as we were in the phone she could schedule the appointment. I mentioned I had a Subaru service plan I'd purchase in another state. I was a little afraid they would tell me they couldn't honor it but instead they assured me it was good here as well.
The service people I met at the service spot were all extremely welcoming and clear with the service I was getting (and noted my other options based on my mileage).
I was very please with all aspects of my visit. I won't hesitate to use Tuscon Subaru the next time I'm in town.

We were ready to trade up. We love Subaru’s and the Tucson Subi team is great- everyone from the time you check in until you drive away is super nice and efficient. Our salesman. Greg Allen spent a lot of time helping us with a new car. He was very knowledgeable about the car and spent extra time helping us setup the new system- patiently explaining how it all worked. We give him a 10 of 10 rating! Thank you Greg.

Austin was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. He was not high pressure and allowed me to compare cars and pick out the perfect car. I would definitely recommend Tucson Subaru and Austin to help with the purchase.

I recently brought my Subaru 2021 Crosstrek in for a sensor replacement at Subaru Tucson and worked with Jesse Friedman. From the moment I arrived, Jesse was professional and friendly. He carefully listened to my concerns about warranty concerns, transportation during the servicing of my car, an estimated time of completion and made sure to thoroughly explain the recommended service. He kept me updated on the progress of the service and clearly explained the costs involved before any work was done. I really appreciated his honesty and transparency. The service was completed efficiently and my car is running perfectly. I highly recommend Jesse Friedman and the Subaru Tucson service department for their excellent service and customer care. Again, Thank you Mr. Friedman.

I cannot recommend getting your service here.
I went to go get an oil change, inspection, and a tire warranty change.
The whole business model is to try to sell you as much things as possible.
They tried selling me a whole new from break system when all I needed was new break pads. They tried charging me 2000 for the whole thing for a $40 repair.
I got a new tire put on since one of them popped under warranty and when they did so, my tire alignment was ruined to which I have to spend upwards of 300 just to get that done (although if I got it done here it would probably be 800-1000 dollars).
They also recommended a battery change and wanted to charge 150 for a brand new battery where I got an even better battery at ORielly for 50, with warranty, and installed it myself.
But overall, after when I got my car back from my last service here, it has not driven the same as it did before coming here and I am reluctant to even want to come back, even for a simple oil change.
