I don't know exactly happened to TOP but at one point years ago they were the best Credit Union in town. I think they changed management but their service as gone down hill. I have been with them over 20 yrs and never had the kind of service they give now. They use to care about their customers. All I know as soon as my car is paid I will longer bank with them. Honestly, I think their ttheir in some kind t of rtrouble and and the customers are paying for it . Worst customer service ever! And they zero compassion for anyone.

I went through the drive-thru teller and was greeted by Eunice with a spectacular smile ?! Thank you again, Eunice for your polite service. ?

I used to have an account here back in 2019, before I lost my job during COVID. The man who set up my account was very friendly, kind, and a professional, but I gave the place one star because I had to speak multiple times with a racist white woman who worked there at the time.I foolishly applied for a loan. I had just gotten a new apartment and a new job and I wanted to buy furniture instead of waiting a couple months for my next paycheck. It would be a long time beore I got a real paycheck because I was still in training and was being paid very little. This was not a good reason to take out a loan, I know, but I was tired of not having a couch or tables or . . . . anything. The woman who called me back about the loan acted as if I was just pretending to speak proper English in order to impress her. She was clearly racist and hadn't spoken to many black people, and she treated me with suspiscion and disdain for the entire conversation. But I always answer my phone with "this is she" and I always speak proper English, because -- shock of shocks! -- not every black person is a loud, ignorant, ghetto stereotype who speaks AAVE and spends their loans on drugs. After she read my Google review, the next time she spoke to me, she tried to be nicer. But she still behaved as if I was a stupid inferior whose poor feelings she had hurt. The disdain was now gone, but she still treated me as if I didn't know how much I made in a year and I needed my hand held.Racists don't live in reality, they live in their delusions, which -- ironically -- make them dumber than than the people they look down on. This woman had existed in her privileged white bubble so long that she just believed whatever the TV/media/parents told her and was never once challenged for her bigoted beliefs.I have a BA in English Literature. I am an educated, highly intelligent PERSON, not a stereotype.I wrote a Google review complaining about the unfortunate way I was treated. I believe it has since been taken down (I just noticed, thus this repost). But I think black people should know what to expect when dealing with the white people who work in this credit union. Go in there knowing you will be treated like a dumb stereotype only pretending to be educated. And, no, you won't be getting that loan.At least now you won't be disappointed.

I have, perhaps stupidly, been a member of TOPCU going on 8 years. I have 2 separate checking accounts attached to my member ID, today marked 2x now when I needed to replace my debit card with a bad chip, and they completely botched it. Each checking account has it's own debit card/pin, and even when I specified that I needed the card attached to acct 1, they still reissued a card attached to acct 2. Without catching the error myself, I made payments which deducted from acct 2. I had to go back down to the branch to get a reissued card attached to acct 1, they told me I could do so at the drive thru, got there, there was no teller present, waited a few minutes, and had to go into the bank to deal with it. A complete disaster. Apparently 2 separate checking accts w separate debit cards, and having a teller present at the drive thru, is too complex for them to accommodate. What a train wreck. DO NOT BANK AT TOPCU.

I recently had an outstanding customer service experience at Tucson Old Pueblo Credit Union. From the moment I entered their branch, I was greeted with warmth and a sincere willingness to help. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel valued and took the time to understand my needs, providing personalized solutions that aligned with my financial goals. They patiently explained complex banking terms, ensuring I felt confident in my decisions. What truly stood out was their commitment to building relationships and their proactive approach in suggesting ways to maximize savings and minimize fees. The efficiency of their operations, minimal wait times, and user-friendly online banking services further enhanced my experience. Overall, I highly recommend Tucson Old Pueblo Credit Union for their exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

I go to the branch on Broadway, I receive professional, efficient, friendly service. Sometimes it takes a minute to get to the teller. It’s usually because they’re being patient with the person in front of me. I’m ok with that. Always a good experience.

Do not open an accpunt. Overdraft fees are VERY HIGH and they will charge you hundreds for being poor and having the audacity to see if your card works

They love to hold your money. If you deposit cash at a ATM (within their "network") they hold half of it and count it as a check deposit. Right now they are holding our tax refund saying its pending for a week. When I called she told me they don't actually have the money yet but as a curtesy they are letting us know its on the way. I have never heard this before and it didn't happen last year or with any of our other banks in the past.

I went into this bank to open a new account and literally had the worst experience. No one even acknowledged me as I waited in the lobby. Employees just looked at me and walk past. Then I asked if I may use the restroom to wash my hands and was told no. To read the sign on the door , there are no public restrooms! I was completely appalled by how rude this woman was.... I said you know what I am no longer interested in banking with you and Zhe said ok bye. I notice they have poor reviews anyway and I completely understand why. The customer service is horrendous and I would not recom anyone to bank here.

Good solar programs but upon opening up a new account, not a credit card, they decided to go ahead and run my credit without my consent as I am buying a house. Less than ideal

The worst customer service!!! I’ve had a savings account here for years and ran into a crisis that pushed me to refinance my auto loan. The loan officer, Vanessa, ignored pretty much every phone call and ignored every request to speak about the loan in person. All I got was one email a day for almost two weeks with nothing but questions. Communication was so terrible and never once did she explain the process, never provided an update on what was happening with the loan, and again ignored every question I had. I had to call the main number multiple times to find out what was going on, because the receptionist was about the only helpful employee here! When my loan was finally approved, I thought I could finally get an appointment to finish the paperwork, instead she informed me that she would be out of the office and would schedule an appointment when she returned the next day, instead of setting one up right then and there. Then when I let her know I was going to be visiting the office to finish everything up because I had limited availability because of work and couldn’t keep waiting on her, Vanessa let me know that there was still some things pending before I could sign. When I explained the urgent situation, she just said “I didn’t know that” to which I responded, “yes, because I couldn’t get you to answer your phone or meet with you in person!!” She said she would call me back. She didn’t. I finally called to check in, she said my loan couldn’t be approved AFTER I got the approval notice. All because “her team” didn’t do their research. They also ignored every request for me to speak with them. I asked to speak to a manager to which she said she would have them call me back, and shockingly they never called back. Needless to say I am closing my account here and never recommending this credit union to anyone. I’d rather bank with one of the big ones because most of the staff here lack the most basic customer service skills.

I had an issue with my solar loan. Despite my best efforts to ensure the application would go smoothly, the staff (Crystal Stark, and her supervisor/manager) did not provide me with accurate information on what's still missing on the application. Now, my solar loan is canceled. I am deeply disappointed at this.I don't think it is a fair practice/professional that as the customer, I am penalized due to my application mishandling inside the bank administration by Ms. Clark and her manager/supervisor.

My wife and I had our approved loan rejected.... apparently due to not submitting enough docs but we did. And now that rates are higher, they closed our loan application and will have to pay more if we reapply. Additionally, Maraiah and Joanna do not return calls. And when you call their office, no one answers. I was on hold over 30 minutes twice waiting for anyone to answer. They won't even return our contractor's phone calls and emails.Thinking about contacting NCUA, BBB and local news stations.

Eunice was so friendly and helpful. She made my transaction easy and offered additional help when she saw my need. I wish everything was that pain free!
