It's a local community based credit union. It's somewhat convenient for me when making deposits and withdrawals. Typically we never go inside to interact with staff, fave to face.

I recommend that you stay away from Tucson Federal Credit Union. I have been a customer for many years, and I consistently have problems with getting their customer service to respond to problems in a timely manner. They have no system for recording notes on communications with their customers, which makes it very easy for their employees to dodge accountability for not responding to customer service requests. I do not have this problem at a competing credit union in Tucson (Vantage West). It will be a hassle, but after my most recent experience, I will be withdrawing all funds from this credit union and moving my IRA account somewhere else.

Haven't had a bank account in many years due to being in a disability battle and not being able to work for a very long time but finally won and out of all the banks I have talked to to figure out where I wanted to bank at this time Tucson federal credit union made it so very easy and helped me get everything set up as well as the app for your account online and everyone was very friendly and courteous a d made opening a bank account which I absolutely don't like having but made me feel completely comfortable with them and making sure I had my account set up so if I have a tiny mistake instead of just getting hit with $33 overdraft fees it will just automatically move money from my saving account over to my checking to save me from the overdraft and even walked out with my debit card the same day no wait to access your account or anything, best bank experience ever and everyone was very helpful from having to text them to even figure out what i need to do to open an account tĥere and pretty much all I had to do was show up and they did the rest from there and answered the questions I had before I even had to ask and all was answered in the process of just opening the account of the few questions I had and again thank you to everyone at the midtown branch for your help and how kind and friendly everyone was

I am leaving and moving to Hughes Federal Credit Union...why...because I don't like the overall attitude of the employees ....if I ask for balance information..the teller will write it on a wipe/erase board or simply blurt it out loud..you have to request a written receipt....now upon entering the bank you must state the reason you are visiting to a staff member siting at a desk in the lobby for all in the bank to hear......nextyou are required to sit in a chair to await service ..I have had to sit and wait even when there has been three tellers available not serving anyone.I have been at this bank for several years but instead of service improving..it has gotten worse..goodbye Tucson Federal Credit Union I saw the low review score. so I am not alone in my dissatisfaction.

yet again, i had a 'situation' with my debit card. ugh... i walked in, was cheerfully greeted by Natalie (who by the way remembered me from my last occurrence). She was a friendly, calming familiar face that put me at ease and gave me confidence that I was in a safe place. Again she offered me water and retrieved it quickly. I explained the situation, she HEARD and UNDERSTOOD! She handled everything like a real PRO! I was back on my way in 8 minutes!!!! Natalie has excellent skills of communication and the knowledge of how to best handle a variety of issues!

Staff are always friendly. The lobby is always clean and cool. They have good music playing which is at a good volume, not too loud not to quiet. Staff work well together.

Horrible. Came for change for a yard sale at 355pm. Gentleman tells us we are up next. 440pm we were actually 3rd in line. 2 young men walking around doing nothing. Meanwhile, there are now about 8 people waiting for the ONE teller working on a Friday.

I have never had so many issues with a bank in all 15 years of living in Tucson. The tellers will pass along incorrect information regarding card expiring soon, asking about mailing a new debit card, how to change address. when you stop in or call, you are told it has to be done in the chat box. Banks email and phone was compromised, my account was affected when a scammer pretending to be the TFCU fraudulent claims department had access to the bank's phone number, my email, my zip code. They never asked me to give them my social security number or password but they had me verify things that the actual bankers ask. they texted me verification codes, they emailed me things from VISA...Several times I have been unable to access my own money because of a mistake, a card printer being down, someone not calling me back after I requested a call several times. Do not trust this place with your money. Please.

Best banking experience I've ever had. Was quick and easy when I got my account. Money is available right away when I make deposits.

Little short man behind the counter kept ordering me to sit. I do not want to sit. Stop telling people what to do and do your job so I don’t have to sit and wait. Do better with your customers relations TFCU.

They aren't terrible so far. We got a car loan at a very low rate. We didn't have an account prior to that. (We bank at Hughes Federal Credit Union typically). I have to say that Hughes is far superior; no mistakes, more convenient. Because I have a loan, we opened a savings and checking accounts. Within 7 months, there have been two annoying mistakes. I would say watch your accounts. 1. We were somehow enrolled in bill pay about 3 months in. That was a monthly charge. I caught it and they politely reversed the charges but I did not sign up for this service. 2. They took an extra payment from our Savings for the car loan on month 7. Our car payment is supposed to come from Hughes. They took that payment and they took one from our Savings at TFCU in July 2022. I called and they said we were enrolled in autopay from our TFCU savings. WE NEVER enrolled in this. They can't tell me how this originated. I had to sign paperwork to reverse this and they were friendly about it. BUT I am leery that there have been two mistakes made in such a short time. Good points: They are friendly and the customer support chats on the phone app are very easy to use and responsive. They gave me a great rate on my car loan.

Worst bank I have ever dealt with. My husband and I had the exact same fraud charge on both of our cards. It's been months of arguing with them and speaking with managers. My husband received his refund however they are denying mine. The exact same charge from the exact same company. How does this make sense? Also I have updated my address at least a 1/2 dozen times and yet I haven't received any correspondence from them! Why? Because they still have our old address and won't update it to the new one. Ridiculous! Worst mistake I ever made was opening an account with Tucson Federal Credit Union.
