Last of the dying breed of truck stops. I'll go here before I fight the crowds across the street at the Pilot. Nice showers, clean restrooms, easy off, easy on. Omar's is great too, 24-7. Grabbed a cheeseburger to go and it was delicious. Bun toasted on the grill, lettuce tomatoes onions, and it was hot.
Update- Stopped in the other night, looks like the restaurant isn't 24-7 anymore. There was a sign behind the cashier that said, "Sorry, no hot water."

Service in Diner
Faythe was our server. It was not a busy night in the diner which we were happy about since my husband and I walked around Old Tucson for so long having attended Nightfall. Unfortunately our service was not good. Faythe is an unprofessional server who needs much training in service and manners. She made a mistake on our wings we ordered six hot and six garlic parmesan, she brought 12 hot wings with garlic parmesan on the side expecting us to not only pay for the mistake but be okay with the mistake. We chose to pay for a mistake the restaurant made to avoid any backlash or tampering of the food just in case but that wasn't all we witnessed. Faythe acted different towards another table stating things like you ordered easy and treating them better than she treated my Husband and I. I requested another ranch for our appetizer and extra napkins since we ordered the $1 wing special, it took three times requesting napkins until she finally brought them. It was very unfortunate to witness her also turn a Mexican couple away 25 minutes before they closed. We learned they closed at 12: 00 am instead of being open 24 hours as we researched prior to heading so far to this restaurant, since we live far north of Tucson, none the less we overheard our server Faythe speaking loudly about closing sooner to another table as if to cover her tracks since she was not only rude to us and made us feel unwanted, mind you she was only serving 3 tables in total. Have been in the service industry for many years it was a disappointment to see what a decline in service this restaurant we oh so Loved many years ago had. I hope this feedback reaches the right manager/owner for coaching purposes. By the way we will not be returning anytime soon. Thank you.

Gotta pay for really bad parking. Pothole city. Tiny convenient store, not much to choose from, really dirty.
