TRAK is the perfect place for everyone. I came to this facility when I was 8 and I was a camper and after that I gave up on horses and equestrian work for a while. One day when I was 12 I decided to volunteer there. I was there almost every day and I got to know many of the staff members. Especially Cowboy Gil who is the ranch manager. After a few months of working at this ranch I moved away to San Diego and this was such a special place I come back every month to visit. This is truly the best place in Tucson and if you are into equestrian work this is the place for you.

TRAK is such a magical place! My daughter’s riding instructor Tessa is one of our favorite parts of TRAK. If you’re looking for a riding instructor that will actually teach your child about horses & their behavior, technique & balance, & horsemanship from the ground up you should request lessons with Tessa. In addition to being a great & knowledgeable instructor, she also communicates with me regularly about my daughter’s progress, & what she’s planning to work on- she’s such an invaluable asset to TRAK!

Great place for a small birthday party! Our guests had a blast petting the animals and going on the guided horse rides. The space for the party was great too. There is a small space with covered picnic tables, an open area for guests to hang out that is near the area the petting zoo. The staff was very helpful. Would definitely recommend for a small birthday party for young kids.

Unexpectedly came across this place while shopping at Green Things. The sign out front stated they offer riding lessons and a petting zoo. When I called to inquire, Tess, explained the many programs they offered along with a toddler friendly animal farm section. They had a section of bunny rabbits, chickens, ducks, mini horses, sheep and goats to pet and feed- toddler loved this part. Hours are from 7-11am then 4-6 pm during the winter months. Shocked to see this place was not on TripAdvisor's top things to do with toddlers while in Tucson...would highly recommend.

This is my favorite place to be. It really IS therapeutic. I've been volunteering since December, caring for 30 horses and assorted farm animals, and have enjoyed every minute of it.

Good place for kids to ride and learn about horses. Also to interact and learn how to treat other animals. My grandkids love to ride there

Our son has come here for a once a week three hour session for about two months and loved it since he was able to pet and play with the animals. They are very reasonable about what you are allowed to do. He enjoyed it so much that we scheduled his fourth birthday party and they have a closed off section that you can rent where you can pet rabbits and chickens and goats and then towards the end whoever wants to ride the horses with assistance is able to do so. and everyone seemed to have a great time, and there were a lot of assistance (Zoe was great!). going to Wildcatz but considering the total amount there was going to be about $1200 and this was about $300, it was a no-brainer.

Thanks to the Angel Charity Grant, I was able to take part in Equine Assisted Therapy for First Responders; Mental Health Providers; and Veterans at TRAK. I loved the people, horses and atmosphere on the farm. I am forever grateful for the experience to connect and work through past traumatic events.I am grateful for the outstanding service(s) that TRAK provides to the community. With Grace, Grit, and Gratitude,Stephen(+)Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP)The Eagala Model and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) is a team approach that includes an experienced Mental Health Professional, a qualified Equine Specialist, and horses working together with the client. All of the work is done on the ground with the horses front and center, deliberately unhindered and never ridden or controlled, allowing them to interact with the client(s) as they wish. This creates the space for the client, with the support of the professional facilitators, to reflect, project, and make deep connections.

The TRAK experience is so relaxing and informative. Just seeing the aray of animals is amazing. The staff are so informational. Seeing the care that is given to the animals is wonderful. The kids on the horses whether for lessons or therapy look happy and confident. If you, family or a friend has a young person with fitting in or having life issues please go to TRAK Ranch. TRAK Ranch is a true Tucson experience. DL
