I've tried to come here twice for a haircut now.
The first time was a Wednesday and they were closed. Which makes no sense to me.
The second time was today. I reserved my spot on the wait list at around 10:30. There was a 2 minute wait. I am a busy person who has meetings all day. So i booked it. When I got to the barber at 11:09. When I got there I checked my phone and I had a text that they removed me from the wait list. Then they said they were pretty slow and just put my name in. They'd be with me in a few minutes. It is now 1137p.
Mind you I have a meeting at 1p that's about an hour away.
I now don't have time for a haircut.
All the while the haircutter is out here talking to this old man about her side masseuse business where he can come back to her place and get a personal massage. And how tense he is and all that Jam. Bro. You might as well give the guy a handy in front of his wife ? what's crazy is that 90 year old man gonna tip her $2 if anything and I woulda have tipped the cost of the cut as usual given that I was able to clean up before I meet with the business union in my sports leagues.
But hey. I've only been going to sports clips for like 7 years now. Time for a new place.

By far the greatest barbershop in all of Tucson. It's definitely worth the money to get the best service of all time, the MVP. They are gentle and very attentive to what you want your haircut to look like and the massage and hot towels are amazing. I implore anyone to not go anywhere else when you need a haircut since this place will do it right the first time and make you feel welcome.

See why this place is reviewed so poorly. Can't comment of quality of haircut because they wouldn't cut my hair. Got there at 5:25 (close at 6:00). Two ladies cutting hair with one person on the board waiting. Went in and asked if I could put my name in. Their response was "Sir, do you know what time it is? We close at 6:00" I wasn't sure if they were being rude or truly asking me to see if they had time so I responded "yes, you close in 35 minutes correct?" She then again said "look what time it is. Sorry we can't get you in today"

The only reason for the 3* was due to the on-line check in system- I requested a specific stylist online however when I arrived I had been assigned to “first available” which was with someone I had never seen before. Why have a system that doesn’t work?

Beware! I was double charged! I used my debit card but Melanie said it didn't go through. Melanie then started pushing buttons on the credit card terminal. I then paid in cash. The next day, the original transaction was subtracted from my checking account. I called Sport Clips and was told that Melanie was off today. I spoke to the assistant manager who said she did not have authority to give refunds, and I had to wait until 1 PM to speak with the manager. The manager gave me another phone number to call. I told them it is almost a 3-hour round trip, but I was told I had to go in person to process the credit. They now said it might take 48 hours to credit the debit card transaction. They did not even offer any additional compensation for my time and gas.

Eyalu gave me one of the best haircuts I've had. She also provided me with products that were specific to what I needed. She is one of the most knowledgeable stylists I've worked with.

Last time I'm going to SportsCuts period, especially Grant location. I told the person cutting hair exactly how I wanted it, she verbalized understanding, then she proceeded to take my fade skin right all the way up when we both just agreed I wanted a low fade. Smh wtf wrong with people. I paid cause I felt bad cause she was talking about how she needed the money. Just bad experience overall. Peace out Sportsclips.
