This Safeway is a relatively large, spacious, and easy-to-navigate supermarket on the north side of Tucson. It offers a convenient and friendly grocery experience with a wide selection, including the bakery, deli, fresh produce, and the butchers block. The store features good deals on items like eggs, milk, butter, juice, and ice cream, though many products are noted as being more expensive than other stores, with specials often reserved for cardholders. Some shoppers report that hand baskets can be difficult to find. While the shopping experience is generally enjoyed, with low traffic in the evenings, there can be occasional issues like produce items being completely out. The store also offers services like Order Ahead pick-up, Grocery Delivery, and donates various items to a local food pantry.
This is not the best Safeway we’ve been to and the selections are somewhat limited but the store is clean and the produce and meats are fresh. It serves its basic purpose just fine.

For the life of me I can't figure out why Safeways seem to be hiding hand baskets for their customers. I don't need to push around a large cart, but I'm also limited in how many items I'll buy if I carry things by hand. Retail shopping has gotten so bizarre in the last few years.

Best bakery! This store is small and as such, doesn't have a large selection.
