I am generally very distrusting of car dealerships, I have been completely blown away by their customer service, responsiveness to request and more importantly the repairs they did after I purchased a used vehicle. Manny and his team stated they would make sure everything was taken care of and they came through true to their word. I would definitely recommend Royal to anyone, keep up the great work.

Ive been helping my brother find a car that he likes as I will be cosigning for him. We initially went to Royal Kia because I have already bought a car with them and the salesperson was great at the time. Car has also been great and their warranty forever is definitely enticing (considering we are looking for a used car).
We went to the car dealership on Speedway and we were first helped by salesperson Aaron. We looked at some numbers and let him know what we were looking for (based on the prequalification I came with from Capital One). We saw the cars that were within our range as well as within the warranty forever restrictions and we put a $300 deposit for a car that was in the shop to go through final inspection as it was a trade in. It would take about 2 weeks for it to go through inspection we were told. Service was great!
We then came back to the dealership about a week later as we noticed another incoming trade for a 2021 Kia Forte - everything fit what we were looking for. First salesperson that helped us wasnt in so we were helped by Dale. Since the incoming trade would also need to go through inspection, Dale said it would take 1-2 weeks to have the car in the dealership. We moved the $300 deposit from the previous vehicle to this one and set up an appointment to test drive the car. My brother liked it so we let Dale know to let us know when the vehicle was ready so we could sign the paperwork.
My brother got a call from Dale that the vehicle was ready to go and we set up an appointment with him for the following Friday since that was the day both my brother and I could go together to the dealer. On the Friday of the appointment, my brother got a call from Dale letting him Speedway that the car was sold! He mentioned Royal Kia had tried contacting him multiple times and since he didnt answer, they sold the vehicle. This was strange as 1) my brother or I didnt receive any calls from Royal Kia 2) the intent of the $300 deposit was to lock the car from being sold 3) we had an appointment set up to buy the vehicle already with the dealership.
Talked to the manager Jesus and he apologized and agreed what his salesperson did was wrong and wanted to ensure he made everything right. He let me know that he would have a senior salesperson call my brother within an hour to talk about what type of vehicle we were looking for. Also asked me if we were willing to go through another lending company other than Capital One and I said if it was a better deal, that we were willing to take the offer.
Its been a week, never got a call back from a senior salesperson and still have no car. Very disappointed with Royal Kia!

BEWARE of Royal Kia in Tucson. They charge ridiculous amounts for vehicle maintenance compared to other Kia dealerships. I started using them when we moved here a year ago. At that time I had a grandson working there and it was convenient to have him take my car in from Green Valley area for oil changes. I’ll have more on that at the end. I recently stopped at a Phoenix dealership while passing through there to get an oil change. The charge for that was comparable to here, but that is where all similarities ended. The service advisor there listed recommended time and mileage service items and their pricings. I had been putting these off because of cost, but knew the car needed them. The two items recommended cost $565 there. Upon return home, I checked with Royal Kia. For the same two items here, the cost would be $951, a whopping $386 dollar difference. When I pointed this out to Royal, they claimed that the Phoenix dealership apparently had not quoted the proper engine type and that what I had was more costly to service. I then called Phoenix and they confirmed that their quote was accurate. I then called Jim Click Kia in Tucson, and the price there was $520 which was $45 less than Phoenix and $431 less than Royal Kia. Unfortunately, I had had urgent service necessary a few months ago, so I then took my car to Royal, with an “appointment”, to get that completed at a cost of $2646. After seeing these recent cost comparisons, I have just now gone back and checked with the other two dealerships mentioned. That same urgent service in both Phoenix and at Jim Click Kia here would have cost right at $2000, almost $650 less than what I had paid at Royal Kia. Bottom line, I paid them $646 more than market value on the urgent repair. Just glad I didn’t bite on the extra $431 on this most recent service. They are appropriately named. I got the Royal screw; my own fault for just assuming that they were a cost-competitive, honest, and reputable dealership. They might (possibly) be two out of three on those, but certainly not cost-competitive for service. Oh yes, and as far as oil changes, when you’re eventually able to get an “appointment” for service at Royal, most times within a 4-6 week window from the time of your inquiry, it is not actually for a scheduled time slot. Rather it is for a time that you can drop your vehicle off and then they will get to it sometime that day…..hopefully, unless they don’t. Don’t plan on getting there on time and leaving within an hour or two. There’re no guarantees on when they’ll be finished. Customers seem to be treated more as an unfortunate inconvenience instead of the reason for their existence. To be fair, my service there has always been completed on the same day as the “appointment” for me. They do offer to take you somewhere else instead of waiting on site, but not when you live outside their immediate area. You need to plan on staying the day or getting a ride from someone. So for that $1000 “extra” that I would have paid Royal Kia, they ended up buying the solid assurance that their business will never get another penny from me for either service or for any new vehicles. I see Royal Kia as a prime example of price gouging rogues. Bu-bye to their slimy pricing and “customer scheduling” practices!

I would like to give a big thank you to Wendy and Keith at Royal Kia. They made my first car buying experience a joy. I had been really nervous for weeks waiting for this day but from the second Wendy greeted us my nerves started to disappear. She was so sweet right from the start and even had a dozen roses waiting for me on the car when it was time to drive it off the lot. Keith was great as well, making sure I understood everything from the finance side. I will continue to recommend Royal Kia to everyone.
