Sounds like you walked into a post-apocalyptic bargain bin rather than a Ross. The security setup screams “high-crime area,” yet the actual enforcement is left to a teenager who probably couldn't stop a strong breeze. Meanwhile, the parking lot is a live-action crime documentary—homeless fights, drug deals, the works. And inside? Shelves stripped bare, like the place is shutting down, but instead of liquidation prices, you get suspicious glares and a mandatory receipt check at the exit.
It’s less about shopping and more about survival. You don’t just leave with discounted clothes—you escape with your life. Ross could definitely do better, but so could the entire ecosystem around it. The whole scene reads like a case study in urban decay, where retail therapy is just another form of punishment.

Poor selection, but rock bottom prices… they added security guards so it’s probably unsafe. I’m guessing they’ll be out of business soon as who knows how they make a profit with 2 security guards

I get adding security for theft purposes but this Ross has gone too far. The security guard WATCHED me check out (only customer in the store) and then demanded my receipt. Common sense people. Won’t be back.

Do not go to thos ross....or any ross that makes you stand to be recorded before entering using the " ots for safety " nonsense. Stop paying security to profile people at the door and pay them to actually protect the merchandise. The front security was extremely rude and disrespectful when I ask why this store has it and most do not? He rudely said "well you are stil here either way" so I chose yo walk right back out. DO BETTER ROSS! PAYING COUSTOMERS ARE NOT THE ISSUE.

Ross is probably the best store when it comes to clothes and prices only one negative complaint I have found is that security are very invasive while they already know you are standing there but still have the need to check my receipt and bag when I already purchased the item or items.

Left immediately after I was stopped at the door to "meter traffic for security of customers" there were a handful of people in the store total. No line. No line at the checkout. No reason to be stopping people. Always out of jeans anyway.

You have to wait to get in and there aren't hardly any people in the store. Maybe this store should be closed. They don't have what you want and they aren't very nice. Won't be going back to this store!

Hate the screening prior to entering. Treating everyone like potential criminals instead potential customers. Very uncomfortable shopping in there.
