Hello everyone,
I’ve been living here for nearly 3 years now and on the end of February 2024 I moved to a renovated apartment. I had on the 22nd of May , on the 21st, one day before my flight, I literally woke up to the manager being in my bedroom telling me that I need to wake up because my apartment was flooded with water (the water was coming out of the toilet so imagine how awful the place smelled). I had my luggage packed and everything because I had a flight the next day and everything was totally soaked and destroyed. I had to go and buy new bags the same day. mind you, we had an agreement that the work they had to do in the bathroom was going to be done after I leave to travel. plus they left the apartment before 5pm and the bathroom was looking absolutely ridiculous, it had brown stuff, toilet paper, and water all over the place. i had to ask them to get rid of the carpet in my living room, that’s how bad it was. moving forward to the day i came back to tucson for another surprise. i came back home and the washing machine wasn’t turning on at all, and other things had the same problem as well so basically there were a few things that were not working. I had to wait for a whole week until someone finally decided to notice my existence. I literally had to go and ask them to fix it more than once because uni was about to start in a week and i need to wash my clothes and i refuse to wash my clothes in the facility, im not paying 1700-1800$ a month to wash my clothes downstairs, thats absolutely ridiculous. after a week, they came to my apartment and told me that there were some issues in the building after the storm and i understand, thats no ones fault, but explain to me why when the maintenance guy came in and asked me about the washing machine as soon as i told him what the issue is all he had to do was to click on the start button and it worked immediately like i didnt try to do that already. these people had me looking absolutely stupid, they fixed the issue before even getting in my apartment and told me there was some kind of switch turned off so they turned it on and came upstairs to check if it worked. ridiculous. now, my dishwasher hasnt been working for a month. this happened back in september, i asked for maintenance and it came in time, the maintenance guy said that he’s going to order a piece so he could change it and the problem would be solved. now its october 16th, after two maintenance requests i decided to go to the leasing office myself to ask about this unattainable dishwasher piece that took over a month to arrive and guess what? i was told that they JUST ORDERED IT and when i asked how long is it going to take to arrive they said TOMORROW. funny cause where were yall literally a month ago??? EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT AM I PAYING $1800 a month for???? im speechless. i’ve been here for 3 years and never had to wait for two days for maintenance to come and check the issues i had in my apartment they were respecting me as a resident, my time, and comfort but now its the total opposite and its absolutely disappointing.
absolutely disappointed.

SO I have been living here for a year and some change, I started in a studio apt on the 9th floor I LOVED it the 9th floor was always clean and never really had any issues, After my lease was done in the studio I wanted more space so I moved to a 1 bedroom on the 6th floor and to be honest its like night and day between the two apartments. the 6th floor is always dirty and hot, the people in the halls are loud at 12am on a wednesday, Im not one to complain but it does get super annoying. the apartment its self is nice! but not as nice as the one on the 9th floor, it was recently renvovated before I moved and theres paint all over the floor (I cant take the time to scrape my floors everyday to get it up) the closets are weird, my AC is also kind of not working properly and for some reason my TEP bill is up to $400 which does not make any sense as I unplug and turn off things before I go to work. haha, as someone in a previous review said we have seen about 4 diffrent managers, they have all been so kind however I asked about my AC getting fixed and thankfully someone came in to look at my unit however the next morning it went out again, I sent in another request and called lori to make sure she got it and see if there was a way I can get a credit towards my bill since its legit not my fault and said 'we spent alot of money to send the AC guy here for you sooo" OKAY??? im thankful but im HOT af in my apartment that i pay almost $2000 a month for i think that its fair that i should be able to be comfortable right?? so far everyone has been helpful with what they have to put up with, the roof is leaking from the rain, the covered parking roof has feel off from a bad storm so I understand they have alot going on right now.i would say my biggest prob is parking, they have so many covered parking spotts and not as many unconvered so after I come home from work im forced to park in a covered spot and fear that my car will get towed, im not sure if they can make the spots cheaper but it gets crazy sometimes. so its not terrible but not the best either! the location is great! the people that live here are so sweet and everyone just does there thing!
UPDATE 9/23
in my previous review I was giving managment a little to much credit. it has been 4 months now and i STILL have a messed up AC unit and have paid over $900 towards energy thats not mine and have not heard from anyone regarding compinsation on my rent. I hope they see they see this because i have been nothing but patient but now its done. and im pissed off. if you care about management then dont live here they will ignore and avoid you like the plauge when you have a problem. make it seem like its your fault when its not even close to your fault and make you pay for there messed up AC unit.

I really tried to love this place but the management just made it impossible. The great views are the only redeemable quality of this apartment complex, the updates to units are superficial at best and everything underneath them is falling apart. There’s also constantly bad odors throughout the building, nothing ever gets fixed, the pool is green half the time, and to top it all off the water coming out of my faucets would turn brown every time there was a water shut off (which was often). Great location and views but even that doesn’t offset the negatives, avoid if you want a peaceful, safe, and clean place to live. I could go on but this place has taken enough of my time.

I went to tour the building for my mom and met the manager Samantha and she had a great attitude and although it was out of our price range , I would refer someone. Nice building

If you are looking for an apartment, do not make Redondo your home. You will regret it, the construction and overall experience with the staff has been a NIGHTMARE. Your quality of life will be absolutely awful.

Now that I have had some time to settle, I just want to express how much of a Tucson Gem this find is. I am so beyond impressed with the amazing information given to me and the staffs attention to detail. I want to make sure that Ms Katie in the office gets all kudos. She could not have made my process any smoother than what she did. She made sure I had all my questions answered and was very patient with explaining everything to me. Thanks to her and all the information she patiently explained, I think I have found a place to call home. Katie, again thank you so much for taking care of us. You are amazing! Always happy to give props where it belongs.

Don’t let its slightly dated mid-century modern exterior fool you - Redondo Tower is not the Tucson House, but rather a hidden gem in Tucson.
Views: The beautifully renovated studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom units offer unobstructed STUNNING VIEWS from the 9 story building, stretching from A-Mountain to Bear Canyon on the north side and the skyscrapers of downtown Tucson on the south side. Seriously, check out the photos from the 9th floor I’ve posted. I don’t think there are many other buildings in Tucson for less than $2,000 per month, where you can rent a home with better views than this!
Interior: The kitchen is simply gorgeous. Stainless steel appliance and dark grey cabinets contrast perfectly with the white quartz counters and gigantic island that separates the kitchen and living room its open floor plan. Luxury vinyl plank flooring is set above concrete - minimizing noise above and below - throughout the common areas and bathrooms, with carpet in the bedrooms, a bringing a sense of calm, quiet, style, and comfort throughout. The upgraded cabinets are carried through to to the bathrooms and stainless steel, full size, washer and dryer round round out the incredible, luxurious apartments.
Amenities: A brand new, state of the art, huge gym has the best, technologically advanced, machines available. And it’s not just a couple machines in a closet, it’s an incredibly large gym for the amount of units in the building. The pool area is perfect with a beautiful pool surrounded by greenery creating a peaceful and private space to swim, BBQ or lay out and read. With its own, gated, huge, parking lot offering covered spaces, Redondo Tower really sets itself apart from all other downtown building and apartments - you won’t find that anywhere else downtown!
Staff: I’ve raved about most of the great things I like about Redondo Tower, but truly the best part of living there has been the staff - which can definitely be make it or break it for any luxury community. You can live in any beautiful building, but if the staff sucks, it can make your life miserable. That’s not the case at Redondo Tower! Katie, Jorge, and team are the epitome of professional, offering exquisite customer service, empathy and understanding, relatability, efficiency, fairness, and business style common sense. They are resident focused and equally business minded making for a kind and efficient team you want to see each day yoh pass by the office. You will be taken care of and made to feel important. Your concerns will be addressed, properly and promptly. You will feel, secure, and at ease. Redondo Tower has gone through its share of management recently, but it’s crystal clear why the landed on Katie and the change she has brought has made Redondo Tower the best place to live in downtown, and arguably in the city. Kudos to Redondo Tower for creating such a welcoming staff and making this an unbeatable place to live!

I moved here late August this year and am very satisfied with the choice. The location is perfect for me, my work and most services are within a 10 minute walk. Even with its urban location traffic isn’t heavy and easy to get into and out. Parking is secure and haven’t heard an issue. Fellow residents are friendly and diverse, a great mix. A new gym just opened and welcomed by the residents. If in the market, R Tower is a place to look.

Have been living for more than a year, very happy with my apartment, pretty safe, very spacious and have good amount of sun and air in my apartment. Destiny ( new manager) is amazing, the new team is putting in their best efforts to improve everything. Great to have a new gym.

Lovely conversations, great food, a splendid artist, and the musical accompaniment was soothing to the soul. Redondo is the spot to be for easy access to downtown Tucson and all the adventures one could hope to have.
