Used to carry decent quality feed, in recent months hay as been inedible, not even discounted, Bob is unapologetic, I go to TSC, OK feed and almost anywhere else instead…

Turned on to two items that have been fantastic in helping me combat a very painful Tenosynovitis. A CBD oil that honestly works, and a thumb brace that is everything as advertised. Can't thank Rawhide's staff enough.

I bought a dozen chicks 2 weeks ago.I have raised chicken for yrs and never had this problem with the chicks dying.I have the equipment to ensure the chicks have everything they need.I purchased chicks, chick food, chick meds for water. EtcEach morning I have a dead chick, they have a jelly belly.I have never seen this, after research and talking to my vet. There is no cure! It's hereditary when chickens should not be breeders who carry this. It's a very painful death. When chicks hit the growing 3 weeks it will kill them.High altitudes also contribute to it.WATER BELLY is the correct name!We live at high altitude, never had problem with my hens. You can't see water belly until they hit growing surge. The feed store couldn't tell, but they could hold the hatchery responsible for refund or replacement.I don't feel good about replacement due to water belly is hereditary. So the hatchery should be aware! If they are repeatable they wouldn't breed a hen with water belly.I stopped in to talk to someone in person at feed store, I did not know the term water belly at that time.He was firm NO REFUND! Or exchange, replacement.I will go back to tractor store for new chicks.I am writing this to make people aware water belly. It's a painful death, not contagious. HEREDITARY!Unfortunately you can't tell until they hit growing spert.Thank you Barbara

I go to Rawhide Feeds 2 times per week. Bob and his family are all very knowledgeable to about the products they offer. Their staff is also very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Bob also has extensive knowledge concerning animals needs.Always nice to stop in to see them.

If you care for dogs and/or horses, this is the place to go. Small shop, but thorough. Also good for wild bird seed and supplies; extensive selection of galvanized containers.
