2425 N Treat Ave, TucsonI adopted a cat a couple of weeks ago who isn’t in the best shape. She’s underweight (we’re working on it) and wasn’t grooming herself, so she was pretty scruffy. There were a lot of small mats in her fur that I couldn’t get out so I took her to Blue Cat Grooming. They did such a great job, all the mats were removed without sacrificing much surrounding fur. I have a whole new cat, I had no idea her ears were so pink! When I picked her up, she was clearly very relaxed and friendly, so they treated her well. I’d definitely recommend coming here with your newly adopted cat!

Before we found Camp Bow Wow, we tried somewhere else and after her being there for an hour and a half, they called us said she wasn’t “socialized” enough and that she might not be a good fit. She was only a year old and it was her first time in day care. We thought this was super weird and never went back. Camp Bow Wow goes above and beyond, and I feel so reassured knowing she is there during the day. Even though she was more shy in the beginning they made her feel comfortable instead of telling us she wouldn’t fit in. We pick her up and she is pooped out and happy. Thank you Bow wow!

They are very patient and know how to handle him, and they never make us feel like we need to put him on meds before they will see him (as other vets have said to us), but the meds just make the problem worse and make him more anxious. They were very helpful and took great care of him when he was in pain, presumably from hurting his back. They even came into the exam room to check us out so we wouldn't have to move him since he was hurting. He is his normal self once again. Thank you to all the Drs. and staff.

They kept us updated with what was going on, gave him IV antibiotics, deeply cleaned and closed his wounds, and gave us a detailed plan with home medication to assist with his recovery. I really felt like they were treating him as they would their own beloved pet. Their prices should probably be higher for all that they do, and I can tell that love for animals is what motivates them to do such a wonderful job. We are so thankful for the consistent great care.

Cimarron Animal Hospital
180 N Harrison Rd, TucsonWe brought our dog Lucy here on a Friday (8/6/21) when she was acting sick and in pain. They got her in quickly, ran diagnostic tests, and called us to explain what they found and what our options were. They were very straightforward in telling us that because she had a pyometra, our safest bet would be to take Lucy to a specialist for surgery. Cimarron didn't have a doctor in office on Friday evening who had experience doing this specific surgery, but referred us to Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty, where she got the surgery she needed.We are very grateful to Cimarron for being so candid and transparent with us. Because of this, Lucy got the lifesaving surgery she needed and in a timely manner.We'll be returning to Cimarron for all our pets' veterinary needs in the future. Their prices are fair and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We'll definitely refer our family/friends' pets to Cimarron as well!Thank you for being so awesome :)0/24Started bringing my kitten Freya here recently and all the staff are still as awesome as I remember. They took great care of her when she was sick, took extra time to answer all my questions, and they're so gentle and kind when she gets shots. Happy to make the trek across town to bring my baby girl here. I've seen 3 of the vets so far and I like them all, very knowledgeable and friendly. Sol Dog Lodge Grooming Spot and Training Center

My wonderful dog became very reactive, protective, and fearful- to the point that taking her anywhere outside the home was stressful for the both of us. Ultimately, my vet and I decided on a combination of medications and training and the improvements I've seen have been amazing. Shelly was incredibly helpful in setting up my initial evaluation. Francesca has been a fantastic trainer- she knows when to push my pup (and me) and I have seen such amazing progress. She is has been able to join me on treks around town and is back to her goofy, happy self!

The breading was heavy and delicious but the chicken patty was so juicy and tender that I was surprised. I had my first Chick-Fil-A last week and Salad Nation far surpassed what they offered. If you haven't tried this place, treat yourself, you won't be disappointed. Omar was very friendly and told me all about the business and how they prepare their food. I did not expect the Huevos Rancheros to be anything special, just some eggs, beans, salsa on a corn tortilla... But was I wrong!!! The dish was exquisite, one that I will wish for even back home in a food heaven like NYC ❤️
However, the one item I didn't like was the Turmeric Lemonade. As a South Asian who puts turmeric in literally everything, I didn't quite find the appeal here...

I visit this coffee shop at least three to four times a week. While most of the time I'm usually very satisfied with the service and the product, today the service let me down. I usually tip 50% on my order; today, I tipped 70% on my order before I received it. I received two puppuccinos for my dogs. While leaving with two dogs in tow and a hot coffee, I left the two empty cups on the ledge of the window, only to have a lady open the window and rudely tell me to take my trash with me. This is unacceptable customer service, and when I decide to return, I will definitely be reconsidering the amount I leave as a tip. I know you tip pool, and it's a shame that one person's attitude ruins it for the rest. While I cannot deny that the product is good, I feel this is the only way that gets management and employees attention.

I absolutely love the cut she gave Piper and I've never seen her coat so WHITE and beautiful! Thank you so much! I know Piper has anxiety when she goes to the groomer, but she seemed fairly relaxed after I picked her up. I think she enjoyed her time there!

1145 N Woodland Ave, TucsonThis is a wonderful no-kill shelter for cats. It is not fancy, but it is clean & organized, with lots of cat trees, cozy blankets, and scratching posts. The volunteers take excellent care of these kitties and love them & know them by name. The cats are free to roam in multiple rooms, unless they are ill, aggressive, or need special diets/meds. The shelter operates entirely on grants & private donations.One reviewer mentioned so called challenges of adopting-- there is an interview process for a reason! Each cat here has different personality, age, & health needs-- the manger is very particular about making sure the cat is placed in a home that will be a good fit, ensuring that the animals don't end up coming straight back to the shelter. Her #1 priority is the well being of the CAT, not the convenience of a customer. I admire the way they do things!

Pima Animal Care Center (Animal Shelter)
4000 N Silverbell Rd, TucsonWe adopted the perfect dog three days ago, a pitbull terrier called Guapo. It was loved at first sight. Guapo was refusing to walk at the shelter, but as soon as we got home and let him roam our large fenced yard,he walked around exploring. PACC made it a smooth process, provided all pertinent information and documents. We're very happy with our four-legged new family member. He is now trusting us humans enough to cuddle on the couch with us. This is our 2nd adoption from PACC in 11 years! Our last crossed the rainbow bridge a few months ago, having enjoyed the good life at his furever home. We highly recommend PACC if looking to adopt a pet. They are overcrowded and need help with fostering and adopting.
