This clinic has an incredibly empathetic and professional staff. I had to bring my furry partner there to send her home, recently. They made sure she was comfortable and made her journey home a peaceful one. Thank you Mesquite staff.

I really like this vet clinic. I was lucky enough to sign my fur babies up when I first moved here. I can usually get in fairly quickly. The receptionists are very helpful and friendly. So far, I have had 2 of my 4 cats seen there. I like that I can get everything I need, including meds and specialty diets right there. Very friendly place and the doctors are good to my kitties!

I have had a recent couple of months of visits there with my fur babies and Dr. Alcott has been so kind, caring, and thorough with them. I have been going to Mesquite for 14 years and have always had a positive experience!

Each visit to Mesquite with my two puppies reaffirms that I’ve found a great veterinary clinic! Caring doctors and techs, and a friendly team that makes each visit a pleasure.

Rhonda at the Front Desk is an asset to Mesquite V.H. for sure. Always so friendly and helpful. Dr. Whitting is very compassionate and caring! Robin was very pleasant. I highly recommend Mesquite V.H. That appointment was for SamSam.Had appointment prior with Dr. Baker for Milo. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my concerns. Very pleasant Dr.

Dr. Baker was so wonderful with my dog Bella. We came in for an emergency visit. He took a lot of time with her she was a rescue. I adopted 10 months ago and had no history on her. Fortunately she has gone to Mesquite before. The girls at the reception desk were wonderful as well as the vet assistant.

We’ve taken our pets to Mesquite for many years. The care and affection has been great. Our favorite Vet is Dr. Whiting. She has always taken time to examine and explain what is needed for care while showing affection for our pets. She’s just a great vet and a great person.

Dr. Baker is by far the best most thorough veterinarian I’ve been to in 67 years of pet ownership. Only didn’t give a 5 star rating because it’s very hard to get an appointment with him, and I’ve had bad experiences with the other vets who cover for him.

I cannot speak to the quality of veterinary care because I never got that far. I'm sure they're fine if one is an established patient/client. I took my pet there because I am relatively new to the area, they are close to where I live, and my pet had an injury that - while not life-threatening - was better seen sooner rather than later. Nope. Not accepting new patients. Okay, fine. I was handed a list of urgent care and emergency vets and that was that. I understand that a veterinary office cannot serve everyone, much as they may like to do so; personnel and resources have real limits. I understand being efficient and professional (I had a public-facing job for decades before moving here), but that does not include being dismissive, especially when the potential for emotion runs so high. As a business that depends on compassion and empathy, Mesquite Veterinary Clinic needs to have a better training program for these things in place for its front desk staff.
