I love and always recommend going to St. Augustine Mercado because of the atmosphere and feel of the area.
But I was disappointed yesterday when I saw how unkempt it was, especially in the women's restroom. Toilet paper everywhere and paper towels on the floor and toilets looked dirty.
My boyfriend said the same about the men's restroom also.
As we walked in the south entrance corridor, there were papers and magazine thrown.
It didn't look as clean as I've seen before.
Sad and disappointed ?

Very trendy and hip place. Lots of boutique shops and eateries. Great coffee shop (Presta) and amazing taco spot. Upscale steak house is top notch as well. If ya have friends in town this a great space to spend a few hours.

A fantastic “quiet pool” in the city. Cafe, Mexican food, beautiful courtyard where you can eat and drink or just relax. The tram into the city also starts here, so the Mercado is a good starting or ending point for a tour of Tucson - of course only if you ABSOLUTELY try the food at the MEXICAN..... It's super delicious and you can see that in the visitors every day. A must... when visiting the city

The mexican food is FANTASTIC!, from the presentation of the plate, to the servers they are second to none. The atmosphere is wonderful, elegant but not intimidating, very approachable.

It was great, I ordered a burrito with green chili eggs and potatoes, if you go alone the pigeons keep you company, I gave them my potatoes, also where I ordered breakfast they didn't have coffee, there is a coffee shop right across in the mall, you can also get sweets in the same mall.
