Brought myself and three kids to this clinic because we all had post nasal drip and a chesty cough. I chose this office because it's the closest NW Urgent Care to my homeland I've had so many great experiences with Northwestern providers throughout the city.
Unfortunately, the La Paloma office did not live up to expectations. Front desk lady took over an hour to check us in because she refused to call the provider line for insurance to verify eligibility. Doctor was impatient and lacked empathy. She made me move to a different chair to use her otoscope claiming the cord wouldn't stretch an extra six inches to the chair where I was holding my 2 year old - immediately upon finishing looking in my nose, ears and throat, she stretched the cold diagonally 8 feet across the entire room to throw away the scope cover.
Doctor next stated that the kids looked fine but I needed a covid test. I said that made no sense but let her physically assault me anyway. She was so rough that I began to cry and told my kids we were leaving. While trying to exit, the front desk lady asked me to fill out about 40 pages of paperwork. I refused indicating we had been there nearly two house and this was a waste of time.
My covid test was negative.

I was able to get in and out with an X-ray and fitted for a boot and crutches within two hours . However, I was sent home with a referral listed to see a podiatrist who no longer is taking new patients. Please update your information .

Staff is prompt , polite and competent . Environment is clean. It’s my go to urgent care because doctors , nurses, reception staff are so caring.

The provider I saw was so caring and listened to me. She visibily cared about my condition and did everything she could to help me. It was definitely a stand out medical experience!

Who ever it was that helped me they were nice, thoughtful and made me feel at ease. I was surprised they figured out what was wrong right away.
If I ever need urgent care again this will be where I go.

I had a fall with severe laceration and torn skin. Mary took care of cleaning out the wound and bandaging me. Mary was amazing, caring and supportive!! Thank you Mary!!!

This urgent care deserves 5-stars from the minute you walk into the door until you leave after seeing the physician. The nurse or PA doing the intake was friendly and extremely professional and the doctor spent time reviewing the results of my test. I can't recommend them more highly.

The Doctor who assisted me, was amazing. She gets 5 stars all the way. However the assistant who checked me in and did my vitals etc. is the reason for the single star. FROM MY PRIVATE ROOM (door closed) This employee decided it was wise to LOUDLY discuss another patient. She said there was a patient who checked in, due to having Lymphedema. Proceeded to imply that the front desk employee who allowed her to check in, is dumb and doesn’t know what she is doing. She also continued saying “who goes to urgent care for Lymphedema?! What do you expect us to do? They need to go to the ER” while grunting and complaining about the fact that she’s now in charge of helping this patient. I felt so embarrassed for the patient coming in, because they have no idea and I doubt they would feel comfortable getting help if they knew what was being said by the staff.
Did I get taken care of? Yes. Will I ever be back? No.

I have never met a nicer, more compassionate, friendlier bunch of people in all my years of going to any place like this which includes hospitals, doctors visit or anything! I'm sorry I can't put into words how the entire group of these ladies made me feel! It was truly unbelievable and I'm not one to be receptive to doctors since I am mostly into natural medicines.. etc.. But I needed 17 stitches from an accidental cut on my leg from a fence. They were simply awesome right to the end. I believe the doctor's name was Cheryl Stewart, NP. Her and her staff were Superb!! Thank You! S. Springfield
