Needed a new battery at the last minute (ok after the last minute) and VAS fit me in right away, had the battery on site, and took the extra time to verify that that was indeed the issue. In and out in under an hour - thanks team!

It had been a while since I had service at Independent VW Audi. I live 30 minutes south and have out of necessity gotten my VW serviced near where I live. My recent visit however, was out of necessity since no one else could resolve my issue locally. I’m happy to say that both Chris and Nick went out of their way to make sure that my problem was resolved. I will be returning.

Great shop and workmanship! I have used other VW repair shops in Tucson and they do not compare to Independant VW! I had a job no other shop in Tucson including the VW dealerships were willing to take on. Independant took on the job and now my Passat TDI is running excellent! These guys are the real deal! Don't waste your time shopping around. If you want your car done right look no further!

Chris and the whole crew have diagnosed and fixed the issues many times with no oversell. Having a 2010 VW Jetta TDI has its drawbacks in that no other repair shops can handle it. Thank you everyone at Independent Volkswagen and Audi!

If you have a VW, this is where you need to go. The first time I brought my 2002 Jetta TDI into Nick, he told me “I’ll make your car run like it’s German again.” He did, and saved me thousands of dollars that another mechanic was trying to charge because he didn’t understand the nuances of a VW. Nick and Chris take the time to explain the repairs to me. I always feel respected, which is not always my experience as a woman who doesn’t know much about cars. Repairs and maintenance are done right and well the first time. They’re thorough and take the extra steps to make sure they haven’t missed anything. They fit us in promptly and work to get parts in quickly.
I’m having to face the reality that my 22-year-old car with 350k miles on it won’t last forever. I’ll probably end up getting another VW in part to keep these guys as my mechanic.
As a person with disabilities, I really rely on my car. And as a person with a slightly (cough) ridiculous emotional attachment to my little diesel unicorn, I smile every time I walk in and see the hand-crocheted afghan with the Audi logo on it. Independent gets me.

Simply the best in Tucson. I’ve been to many other establishments, including dealerships and other independent shops. If you have a Volkswagen or Audi, this is simply the best. Great customer service everyone really cares and will always give you the best value for your money!

Everybody from indecent was super helpful. They quickly identified my vehicles issue. James (mechanic) made sure to deeply explain to me how he had diagnosed my vehicles issue. Even showing me a few of the tests conducted. I chose independent after being quoted for a whole new top end replacement by another local major dealership service center. This damage happened less the 5,000 miles after I spent nearly 10k getting the vehicle fixed by this major dealership service center the first time. In no way could I justify spending 3x the value of the car in less then 6 months of driving it. But thanks to independent they gave me the honest diagnosis and the proper plan of repair to avoid such major expenses. They managed to get the vehicle done correctly, in a timely manner, and at a super reasonable price. I would 100% recommend independent to anyone needing any type of Vw/Audi work. These guys are super honest and super knowledgeable. The experience can not be beat!
