Have never had more issues trying to file my taxes. I filed my taxes initially in February and was told I owed money for an over contribution to my retirement account. After calling them and confirming I did not, I was told I over contributed to my HSA. After sending the contribution amount to them with how much I have contributed to it and showing it was under the limit, they finally admitted there was an error in my return. when I went to perform the amended review with their "professional" I was told he was unavailable and that I had to make an appointment, then was blamed for waiting so long to file my taxes as this had been going on for two months. When I went back I was informed I would receive a refund from the government. Only to be sent a letter from said government two months later stating that I owed them money. After talking to their department of revenue, it turns out my "refund" was actually the difference in what I was initially told and the amended document.

While we did have to pay again this year, I understand a lot more than in years past. The automated filing through H&R had a learning curve, but now I know and will be able to use it more easily going forward.

Margarita was great! Dropped off taxes and she got it done same day and I love the online signing so we didn't have to go back in to finish.
