1870 W Prince Rd Suite 58, Tucson“This is by far the best place to come if you are looking for a great deal. Super friendly and ready to help you as soon as you walk in the door. 10/10 highly recommended I will definitely be coming back very soon.”
“I recently had a firearm delivered from PSA to Jon’s gun shop. I was in and out within 10 minutes and John was extremely personable and friendly. From here on out, this will be my preferred FFL. 5 stars!”
“I recently took the Basic Pistol class and could not have asked for a better experience. Paul teaches the course, who is very knowledgeable, experienced and an excellent teacher. Preshie is also in the class teaching, who was also very experienced and knowledgeable. I never felt out of place and left the class feeling very confident in gun ownership. Paul let me try a few different guns, guided me through everything, and stepped back once he saw I was ready to be more independent. Preshie is wonderful with making everyone feel comfortable in the class as well. They are both very professional, communicative and friendly. I highly recommend their course and am so happy I found them. I will definitely be back for additional training. Happy shooting!”
“Definitely recommend this place for all your go to parts for your firearms ! Chris has excellent customer service and a man of his word . Will definitely be a loyal customer from here on out .”
“Been going to frontier gun shop for 38 years best selection of classic guns in town the owner Jim is super knowledgeable and great to talk to definitely a must see for the old west guns and more awesome place”
“The employees are very aware of customers, as they should be. It does not take long for somebody to help you when you need it, and they're itching to teach you about whatever it is they can.
This establishment is welcoming. There is no pressure, go ahead, search and search and search for the perfect firearm (a new bestfriend).
I will say that the parking lot can be easily cramped or limited on busier days. Don't block someone in! It's not nice.
The size of the store is small, on busier days you will find yourself navigating tight rows and excusing yourself to meander past fellow customers.
Definitely recommend doing business here. No issues for me”
“So far I have taken 3 of their training classes, they are great, they are fun, but very strict on safety rules, as they should be. They offer rentals for all of their classes. I’ve been in the shop a few times as well, every time I’ve been there, the staff was always helpful, the guns were clean (including the used ones) the store was clean, they were fairly well stocked on attachments, uppers, lowers, and extra accessories you may want or need. Shoutout to Zane, Mike, and Sean. Mike is the training director, he is bubbly and super cool dude, but an absolute badass. Sean, super funny, he is the CRSO for the training programs. Also an absolute unit with a firearm, he put 10 rounds same spot at 25 yards. He was very knowledgeable. Zane, a really cool dude, also a tremendous shooter, does well at explaining things in a way that makes them easily understood. All the times I took the classes, they were there helping and making sure everything was being done right, and helping you build good habits, instead of bad ones. They modify the drills to be more fluid in everyday life, or just all around better experiences. By the end of all three I was fairly proficient with handguns, and ok with rifles. I would heavily recommend the Carbine Lvl 1 course and the Intro to Handguns course. Both are almost necessary before you buy either of those classes of weapons, they go in depth with the parts and pieces that help it function. They explain the different types of ammo, firearms, whether it’s a revolver, striker fired, or hammer. They explain the components and what to do if something goes wrong. They explain the different types of malfunctions. It is a good family thing as well. I went by myself for intro to handguns the first time, and loved it so much that I took it again and brought my parents along. They also took the carbine course with me as well, we all had a blast. The classes are not packed, they limit the classes to 8 people. The weather at the outdoor range could get wicked at times, so bring lots of sunscreen during the summer months, and bring lots of water as well. They do have a bathroom at the range, and a very safe background when shooting, maybe 15 meter berm surrounding the place. All around good people, have not purchased a gun from them yet, but definitely will in the near future!”
“I took my gun in for repairs. Not only was the gun quickly repaired, Mario taught me more about the gun and was very, very knowledgeable. He is my gunsmith from now on. Trustworthy, knowledgeable, and happy to teach; I was very comfortable and extraordinarily happy with the service.”
“What an incredible experience!!! I took the Adaptive Concealed Applications course and it was superb. Ryan, the owner, and Larry made the class informative, engaging, dynamic, and sheer fun. I learned a lot. The class was fast-paced yet the instructors made sure that every participant had ample time to understand techniques and practice. I was happy to be able to ask questions and received very detailed answers. Everything made a sense and I came out of the class not with just new knowledge, but also with a renewed enthusiasm to practice newly acquired skills and continue training. I am planning to take more classes at Adaptive Firearms Institute and definitely recommend their curriculum to anybody who is looking to improve their firearms skills and learn new things!”
“Murray is very informative and eager to help! Patient, respectful, and communicative. Answered all the questions I had, no matter how obvious the answer would’ve been. I bought something off his recommendation, and I’m very happy with it. Great to find someone that helps out Oro Valley!”

“I’m new to Tucson and have been looking for a traditional gun shop that sales reloading supplies and everything you can think of. This is the mom and pop shop I’ve been looking for and grew up with . I’m definitely going to be a regular customer”
“Very pleasant exchange with a knowledgeable, smart man. Great shipment to an FFL, and a good deal on ammo to boot. Just be patient with these guys ... they are independent, and therefore might take'em a bit longer than the big, price-gouging brick-and-mortar stores. Highly recommended! Would be honored to utilize their services again.”

“Absolutely awesome experience!!
I headed down to Mt Lemmon for my buddy's birthday, once we came down the mountain, we had a few hours to kill before we had to be back up in phoenix, so we grabbed some food and decided to check out some local gun stores, we saw that there was one on the north side of tucson which was hwaded back to where we were going so we stopped in to Disruptive Products/ Adaptive Firearms, what a cool place, not only do they manufacture their own rifles on site with amazing quality and awesome value, the guys are so friendly and knowledgeable, I walked out with their gen 3 rail for my mk18!!!
Honestly the best rail I've seen to date, they installed it right there for me, not your usual gun store experience.”
“Just went today 2/25/24 for the first time and was amazed with the service and they answered all my questions and were so helpful and they have now made a permanent customer with me ...I love this place and will go there from now on for all of my Firearms needs..thank you so much”
