I have been donating my stuff to Goodwill stores, and I used to think about these donations as charity, etc. I always kept this option as my first choice proir moving, or replacement of usable old with new product or just a need for extra room by disposing off and help for the cause of donation.
There were times when my donations were way over thousands, things like crystal decorations, various decorating items, antique items, etc, these items don't lose any valve if they are old.
When my father passed away, his daily use items were very expensive to buy, and some were just new, i.e., his walker, nebulizer, etc.
One day, after donating to Goodwill on N Flowing Wells store from outside drop-off I went in the Goodwill store to check inside for a change that If I could find something in there, just for an experience, I found every interaction with employees a worse experience. This is when I thought, what is this Goodwill donation all about.
The fact of the matter is that this is not like donation to Saint Jude children's medical or Heritage for blind etc where children and blind patients get treatment, but this donation is actually not a donation (my opinion) it's just creating employment (which I believe is also a good purpose for community and economy) but when I realized that employees show such an arrogance and rudely response to not just me but other customers as well, I decided to find other options rather donate for the purpose of being ill treated.
The Goodwill store employees and managers must realize that these customers are not just customers but are also donors, and they are doing all this to help them.
I must find another way of charity after such disappointment.

All of their used items are highly over priced. $2.99 for a used artists canvas when the same canvas is $1.25 at dollar tree. 19.99 for some well used Nike shoes. Your store is made of used items that people donated to you. Goodwill is supposed to lower the burden for working family's on a minimum wage budget. I want to give them a BIG FAT 0!

I love never knowing what I'm going to find when I walk in here as they always have such a variety of interesting merchandise! The $1 color tag sales on Thursday are sooooooo helpful for my budget and over half of my wardrobe comes from here. Very pleasant and polite staff as well!

Tried to drop off a donation. There was only one guy working the register extremely slowly. Asked him if they would take it and he muttered « sometimes » I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with that. It was a yes or no question!

We should not have to drive out of our way to donate items! Fuel is expensive. I'm not going to use extra to donate to Goodwill. I will take them to a different thrift store that is closer than the 1st Ave donation center ?All locations should accept donations.

Management and cashiers have bad attitude. Store has been rearranged and it is awful. Don't bother stopping here

This location is rude and it is ridiculous they cannot accept donations. With the price of gas these days and they want you to drive to further to give them items they will sell to receive a profit.
