I've always had a great experience with Gadabout but this location is my favorite. Yesterday I had the best haircut of my life with Mozhdah! She did exactly what I wanted. I have short hair and I have always had great cuts with Gadabout... But she is especially talented with a bob. Amazing! I'm so glad I was scheduled with her.

Very lax, super warm and welcoming environment. I went in with my two year old son and he sat in my lap and we had a double to go. Jr had fun, i had fun, and we looked good doing it. Very pleased.

Friendly but mechanical! Not a $100 hair cut, but I heard so much about how great Gadabout salons are so I tried it twice. I was disappointed-- Thank you for reaching out to me today! I appreciate that! So I would have to say 6 stars for customer service! However the money I spent including a tip, I expected more attention. My haircut took about 20 minutes approx. and then she asked me if I wanted it blown out! That surprised me too.

Always great customer service at front desk. I highly recommend Rose! She has been cutting my hair for many years and super sweet and EXCELLENT hair dresser! Talented, knowledgeable and has a great eye.

Update: Zelle is not here anymore but in her own salonProfessional place . My daughter and I always see Zelle and she is excellent. I have also done waxing here and will “never “do so again due to infection control practices I observed and technique. The salon is expensive. Cut and color nearing almost $300,- . Everyone up-sales here . Leave in conditioning hair treatment $45,- has been added to our bill without notifying about the cost . So be careful when they wash your hair and ask if you want a conditioner. All in all if it was a review about Zelle it would be 5 stars . If it was a review about the salon In general I would give it 2. If it was more affordable I would see just Zelle more often.

I requested an appointment with their BEST haircutter and got a day and time. I was five minutes late to my appointment (my bad!) and got royally lectured by this "best haircutter" as to how IMPORTANT her time is. I requested that she cut my hair in a modified wedge, which is a less severe cut than the original, iconic Sassoon wedge. She talked on and on about "helmet" haircut and "sassy" haircut, etc. etc., snipping away. When I washed my hair two days later, it turned out to be the second worst haircut I have ever had. It was only then I realized that she did not know how to cut my hair into a modified wedge but was too arrogant to admit it. Now I have to wait until it all grows out to a good length and I can find a decent haircutter and get my modified wedge back. So much for "high-end" salons and their over-rated employees. This is the Gadabout salon at Kolb and Sunrise but I wouldn't go to one at any other location.

I was looking for a calligraphy certified stylist who also was a good colorist, and Meg has it all! She is incredibly talented; honestly, she is the best! When I first came to her, my hair was damaged, overly bleached, and with a salmon color that was far from what I was looking for. She was honest with me that it would probably take a couple of visits to correct the color, but I left the salon extremely satisfied after the first visit. I returned to her about 8 weeks later and I'm blown away about how my hair looks now. It is exactly what I wanted and been wanting for so long. She brought my hair back to life and it is looking incredible! Absolutely love everything done in my hair by her. True artist!Services: Balayage
