I grabbed a cart that I found in the parking lot that squeaked horribly.... Guess I will go with a hand basket.... Since that's all Ieft. The store was busy. I went to the checkout line. I was hesitant to ask for the bags of ice I needed. I mentioned to the clerk I wanted ice but there were no carts. He said they keep getting stolen, there is nothing they can do about it. Advice to management... Buy the carts that lock up if you try to leave the parking lot. It may save you money on repeatedly purchasing carts. I would not recommend coming here if you have a lot of groceries to get. Why hope you will find a shopping cart, when you can go to a store you know will have one.

One of the best fry’s I’ve been to! They have a lot more than my neighbourhood Walmart! They have everything you need to make most salads ands dishes. Cashiers are fast and kind. Uses both card and cash,

This is absolutely the number one Frys in town! The staff is great! Always pleasant and helpful! The staff actually appear to enjoy their jobs. Never a bad experience here. Must be managed well. (Certainly can't say the same about Swan and Grant Frys though.)

I went to this Fry’s to by beef soup bones and meat with bones in order to make an Escoffier style beef stock. They only had two packages of beef bones in the display case. So I went to the butcher counter hoping they had more in the back. I was met by a man who had a somewhat strange affect but I explained what I was looking for and asked if they had more. He led me into the frozen section and pointed to a package of LITERAL dog food. Yes they were bones, but had a picture of a labrador on the package. I pointed out that he was trying to sell me dog bones. He only shrugged and said the were the same thing. The packaging said (in bold script) “Not for human consumption”.As I was leaving the store (11/17/23 mid afternoon) I spoke to a female manager. I explained what had happened. She did not seem concerned that their butcher was trying to sell 4D meats, meant for animals, to their human customers. Even after I pointed out that in his position he should’ve had a better grasp of food safety concerns. And he should not be recommending pet products be consumed by humans.I have no confidence that she addressed this issue. Further I am VERY concerned about what they purchase and package in the butcher section of this Fry’s. Please be very careful if shopping at this store!

Why do your cashiers wait to bag everything after they rang it up? It seems inefficient when you could just be putting the things in the bag as you scan them. common sense is lost

Actually very disappointed in this Fry's on 22nd. The fruits and veggies looked horrible. Usually they are much much better. And absolutely no one was around to help with anything.Usually this location is better than the one on Grant. But now both are sub par.

I’m doing inventory here and it is a beautiful store. We have one in Glendale and the floors are always dirty and the shelves aren’t looked after during the day. They go behind us and fix what needs to be situated and I like that a lot. It shows care and discipline.

Went for a few things on 8/27. Fry's has a few things that I can't find at other stores. Fry's has gotten a little pricey on some items. I like the quality of their meat section.Went to self check out, the staff member in that section was snotty when I didn't need help but the register said I did to make sure I checked my items before bagging. ? she was making faces at me like my kids did when they were small! I complained about her unprofessional attitude. Maybe she needed a break, maybe she needed lunch, had a bad morning. Who really knows but really uncalled for.

Discrimination at it’s worst. I was with my partner who was about to purchase alcohol of a small amount and we were denied. An associate named Patricia denied us supposedly because my California ID was vertical even though I wasn’t the one purchasing. My partners California ID was horizontal and he was still denied even though we were of both of age and our ID’s were still valid (not expired). Spoke to corporate and they read and sent the policy to me which inclined that we had every right to purchase Alcohol and should not have been denied given that we had California ID’s and not Arizona’s. So it should not apply to us. So after corporate confirmed to us that we should have been able to purchase alcohol and had every right to. we started heading right back to the Store so my partner can purchase their Alcohol. But just to make sure I called ahead of time before arriving and spoke to Calvin (supervisor)about the situation and he said the other associate should not have denied us so I told him I’m coming back so my partner can purchase his alcohol and he said that was fine . After we arrive and confront him he immediately denies our ID’s. Barely giving us a chance to explain. Using a condescending tone which made it clear that at this point my partner and I we not doing anything wrong . WE WERE BEING DISCRIMINATED. He insisted that he will not sell us Alcohol. He mentioned at first it was 60 days to replace ID when in fact it was 30 days for Arizona but then again ours were CALIFORNIA. He obviously Seemed rude and seemed like he did not know what he was talking about. I’m baffled because he said yes on the phone and once we arrive he takes a good look at us and I can already see the gestures on his face and composure that it was not going to go good. They way he spoke to us was unacceptable. As my partner was trying to explain to him about the situation and our right to purchase alcohol, he showed our ID’s and Calvin (supervisor) ripped them out of his hand and was trying to walk away with them for who knows what! Calvin should have asked us for permission instead of trying to walk away with your personal ID’s. Anyhow, corporate spoke to Calvin(supervisor) and he claimed our ID’ s were expired (which was a lie) and didn’t state they were California ID’s instead of Arizona ID’s. Corporate assured me that they will be calling them again and addressing this to Calvin and the other associate there that denied us and discriminated us. Here is the policy by the way…What types of Identification are accepted? An unexpired driver license issued by the state of Arizona. NOTE: A vertical, unexpired Arizona driver license is not an acceptable type of identification thirty days after the owner of the license turns twenty-one years of age.An unexpired driver license (vertical or horizontal) issued by: Any state other than Arizona, The District of Columbia, Any Territory of The United States or Canada if the license includes a picture of the licensee and the person’s date of birth. An unexpired non-operating identification card issued pursuant to section 28-3165. NOTE: A vertical, unexpired Arizona non-operating identification card is no longer an acceptable type of identification thirty days after the owner of the license turns twenty-one years of age.A form of identification (vertical or horizontal) issued by: any state other than Arizona, The District of Columbia, Any Territory of The United States or Canada if the license includes a picture of the licensee and the person’s date of birth. An unexpired armed forces identification card that includes a picture of the licensee and the person’s date of birth.A valid unexpired passport or a valid unexpired resident alien card that includes a picture of the licensee and the person’s date of birth.
